Yeah, its always been like it as far as I can remember, the same old folks pics circulate round and round. I dont understand how they get so many likes in a short period.

People who appear in the Top Fabbed list tend to have a lot of good pics, so a lot of people hotlist them so new pics appear in their news feed. As a result, when new pics are posted they get more fabs. |

I dont think it is anything to do with quality of pics. TBH alot of the regular ones are nothing special. Ive see better that have never made top pics. What tends to happen tho is once you make page one then you are noticed by most on site, non supoorters only get to see page one so fab the same old same old profiles that are now on their hot lists. Together with the begging fab my pics/thanks for the fabs status they are guaranteed to stay up there. |

Also depends on location... someone in a rural village in wales, scotland or ireland wont pop up on as many newsfeeds as someone who stays in london..
Throw in "vote whoring"......IE going into chatrooms on cam and 'announcing' they have new pics, please fab if you like etc.... 
Im not saying everyone on top pics does that, but plenty do and its funny as fuck  ... |

There are regulars on there but it's not always the same faces as new people can get on page 1 too.
My fwb is a regular on page 1 and she's only been on fab 18 months. She just has some good pics and while there are some tricks to get noticed she doesn't use chat rooms or beg for fabs.
Not everyone on page 1 takes it seriously, it's just a bit of harmless fun. Some people do get very jealous though and like to belittle those who are on there, not an attractive trait. |

Hi yes I asked that question a few weeks ago and apparently they ask people they chat too to fab their pics which I think is wrong or am I just expecting everyone to be honest and not sneaky or desperate |

I made the #1 slot on Hot Pix on Fg's once.... I was stunned. I'd posted a few pix the morning after a hotel meet, collected all my things together and popped them in the car. Got a coffee for the drive home and an hour or so later at home I had a quick look and my eye's nearly fell outta my head.... I'd had something like 350+ Fabs!

It's not always the same people. There are a few that appear more than others for sure. They do a heck of a lot of pics and yeah once known you stand a good chance of each pic getting highly fabbed. That said I see new people scoring high up all the time. |

We had a 2nd place top fabbed pic once, it was abit of a hassle to be honest as we had a landslide of messages (plus they didn't read our profile) and to be honest it wasn't one of our best pictures but I think people like the regular 'normal' unfiltered style of pictures... Readers wife's style lol |

Occasionally someone new makes it up there was quite shocked when I did the first time and I didn’t even realise it until a fab friend sent me a message congratulating me
While it was a nice complement it alas I came with a lot of hassle. I had to report a string of fake verifications I got given they I can only assume was the guys way of trying to stand out and get my attention (they got it but in a way that made me thinks what a prick! ), some of the regular ladies sent me abusive messages not to mention random ones for guys telling me I didn’t deserve to be up there as im fat and grotesque. Etc not to mention the stream of messages that are simply impossible to reply to the first time was ridiculous I got something like 22,000 profile views, 5000 winks and over 2000 messages in a 24hr period and that’s with some filters set, after that a few of my pics shot up there daily as you seem to get a following of people that regularly fav you, presumably because they have hot listed you from making page one in the first place especially since it’s only site supporters that can see more than one page
All in all it’s not great accolade, personally prefer to fly below the page one radar |

Is there some kind of prize given? Monetry reward? If not I can’t see the point of even worrying about it.
Perhaps this is yet another indication of our desperate need to be validated and approved of in some way by strangers...
We live in a time when being an ‘Instagram’ model or cosplayer is considered a vocation.
Perhaps they put it down on their CV’s?
Wouldn’t meet anyone who did the ‘please fab my pics’ line, but then they probably wouldn’t meet us.
We often wonder why people need lots of pictures anyway? Surely a couple of body shots and a face pic is all that required? Anything else is just for other people’s gratification or is just attention seeking....

I was no1 TV/TS pic and on page 1 of general pics once... i posted a pic on a saturday night and went to bed not long after.....
the winks and amount of mails when i logged in on sunday morning was unreal, and actually a nightmare to be honest. At first i didn't know what was going on

There's some real sweeping generalisations here about the 'type' of people who regularly frequent hot pics which is totally wrong.
Yes you see some regular faces on there and the main reason for this is that they have built up some sort of following. This is usually as they originally got there for a well liked picture and were then hotlisted so that subsequent pictures get fabbed too. There are ways to increase your fabs and *some* women do ask for fabs on their status, join fabbing threads and accept lots of friend requests. Without naming names there are a couple of people on hot pics who have got more fabs by having more exposure using the chatrooms or going on cam or by heaven forbid working in a club and once again getting some sort of following. None of those things affect or harm anyone else so to suggest those people are porn stars or escorts is ludicrous.
There are new people on hot pics all the time and there will always be certain pics who do well such as face pics, pussy pics etc

Seeing as you quoted me I will put you straight. I didn"t eloqently put anything. I agreed with what that poster said. I've been here enough years to recognise the escorts who constantly make page one. Yes occasionally people who aren't Escorts, porn stars, social organisers etc make it onto page one, but generally page one is frequently those who fall into those categories.

I would say that from my experience these people who are escorts or porn stars may make hot pics but the majority of people who make it are not either of these things. In fact I'd say the majority of people are just regular swingers, some of whom like taking pics and like getting fabs. |

Normally the pics on the top page are of those who are typically considered attractive, but it is the same old faces a lot of the time. I've met with two who have been on that page and while I did consider them visually appealing neither was the person I met who I personally considered the most attractive to me.
Anyone could get to the top page if they approached it right though. I once got into the top 3 or 4 with a picture of my ear which I conducted as a social experiment on the forums. If I'd really pushed I might even have topped the list for a brief period of time.
The worst though is when someone posts that they've posted new pics, get fabbing, one lucky fabber (either picked at random or a certain number, say the 1000th) will get to fuck them.
So they're that desperate that they'd fuck a Bernard Manning clone with dubious personal hygiene and nothing really going for them other than they stuck their sweaty digit on a "I think it's fab" button on a screen? For the sake of fabs? |

Sorry, my apologies. It was vote whoring. No offence but irrespective of who gets on the list, the same posts pop up in the forum, attacking or slagging them off. I’ve had to defend myself over and over on this subject. On many occasion I’ve been left feeling like a total freak/outcast because my face has ended up there. We’re all here with the same objectives. Why a list of pictures can be the focus of continuous negative posts is really beyond me?
Does it really matter who’s there? If people are so offended by it then surely not paying it any attention is better than negative posts, which ultimately leave the users who’s pictures are being criticised feeling like absolute crap. Build each other up ffs. Page 1 today is forgotten tomorrow |

We had one pic towards the end of last year that went to the top, it went crazy with messages and views for a few days but since then it's been back to normal. As you say it always tends to be the same old faces. |

I no interest at all at being in the hot pics n rarely look at them tbh - no reason just not my thing but I do wonder how a photo can get over 2000 likes in less than a day......that's impressive, I lucky to get 200  but what's a number when you are having fun!!!

Hot pic regulars are a mix of those who make a concerted effort to try to get to page 1 for whatever reason and those who don't try, take a good pic, get up there once and get hotlisted and the fabs snowball in future as a result. I did get onto the top page of couples once via a shot with a fab friend who was regularly in the male top fabs, so I can only assume he was on a lot of hotlists and I accrued fabs by association. As an insight into how the fab popular live it was an eye opener. I have never been anywhere near it myself on my solo profile and am kind of glad since the attention from it would detract from rather than enhance my fab experience. |

It’s often down to historic followers. Number of people who have them hotlisted. And also number of searches you appear in. When couples/single women block single guys and/or restrict who can message them then they don’t appear in searches. On a previous couples profile we experimented. Removing all the message filters and ‘looking for’ restrictions our fabs went through the roof. |

I’ve had to defend myself over and over on this subject. On many occasion I’ve been left feeling like a total freak/outcast because my face has ended up there. We’re all here with the same objectives. Why a list of pictures can be the focus of continuous negative posts is really beyond me?
Does it really matter who’s there? If people are so offended by it then surely not paying it any attention is better than negative posts, which ultimately leave the users who’s pictures are being criticised feeling like absolute crap. Build each other up ffs. Page 1 today is forgotten tomorrow "

For some reason or other our pics do quite well and get to page one. It's just a matter of opinions anyway. Doesn't mean we are better or worse than anyone else. It's all just a bit of fun to us after all. Looks like some are more serious about this crazy world of fab. |

Yes there are a lot of the same faces (or body parts) in the top Fab pics. And there are certainly some gorgeous faces and bodies and images that don’t get the ‘likes’ they deserve lower down. Being in the top pages is deffo predominantly down to having a fan base or knowing how and when to post a pic and draw attention to it....
But if it makes people happy, then fair enough. There are people on here that clearly enjoy posting pics for whatever reason and seem to do that more than meet. It if makes them feel sexy or popular and people vote with their thumbs, then it’s all good.
I don’t really see the point of the negative comments about photos being rough as fuck etc. Leave people to do whatever makes them happy. I barely look at top pics because it’s not my thing at all...where as, he looks at them all day because it’s his thing. |

I think if you show your face you are more likely to get on page 1 of top fabbed .. I’ve been up to page 3 but I would never choose to show my face just to get more likes... the women that get to page one regularly are just sometimes so desperate they will post the same pics over and over .. it must be exhausting trying that hard all the time .. |

But it really depends what your definition of quality is.
I would say your pictures are far better than nearly all that make page 1 but I can appreciate them, not everyone will. A lot of people may have a different idea of what makes a quality pic.
I don't think anyone has suggested the best pictures actually make page 1, it's various things that get a pic to page 1. |

Wow interesting thread that certainly seems to have bought out the worst in some people - so what if people do get to page one? It doesn't negatively impact anyone other than perhaps the poster of the pic who gets inundated with messages/winks etc so really don't understand the negativity, apart from putting it down to the green eyed monster.
I've had both the privilege and pleasure of meeting at least one of the regular (and deserved IMHO) visitors to page one, and am honoured to call her a friend - and can say without doubt that she fits none of the frankly insulting categories that have been bandied about by some on this thread out of nothing more than petty jealousy.
Yes there are SOME people who whore for Fabs, and there are SOME pics that appear in the Top 10 or whatever that make you go - but so what? Some are, some aren't - I happen to know that one regular visitor to page one uses no more than a phone/tablet camera on timer or sometimes a selfie stick - it's not that difficult to take a good quality pic that way, although I grant you having a creative eye helps

I’ll admit that getting on hot photos works for me - it’s simply a free advertising and marketing tool to attract hot guys I might like to meet - and it works - I’ve met some lovely, gorgeous men from all over the country and had mind-blowing sex and great giggles. In fact I’m off to Newcastle this weekend to meet a lovely (and hot as fuck) man who spotted me on hot photos! I know I’m not all that - but I come from an area which is very short of guys I find attractive - so hot photos simply allows me to be seen by guys who wouldn’t normally see my profile!
There’s a very easy way of ‘opening up’ page 1 to a greater variety of people (which I’d personally love to see!) - and that is to make becoming a site supporter compulsory after a short period on Fab! As well as reducing the number of fake profiles considerably, everyone would be able to see all the pages of hot photos so there’d be far more diversity!
Another would be for women to start fabbing more pics (I fab loads of men, women and couples) then, for once, we might get more couples and maybe even a few guys on page 1!

I assumed that most delete and then re-upload the same pictures. I have seen accounts on the top fabbed have a few photos and then the next day the same photos appear in newly published.
I personally like looking at the top fabbed photos although I’ll never get there myself, I can see the appeal. |
