my parents knew i was a swinger and into the bdsm lifestyle from the age of 19
they never asked about it but just told me to be safe
a few close friends know and they are my safety call if ever i need one

Mine do. My sister even went to a swinger's social with us--she had a great time, even though she's not at all into swinging.
All of my close friends know. They simply tell me to call them if I ever get into a bad situation, same as on any dating site.
While I wouldn't volunteer the info to my kids, I'm sure that if they somehow found out they wouldn't be all that shocked. |

Pretty much all of my friends know. I don't feel the need to be ashamed of it, and some stories are too funny not to be able to share with your mates! As for family, well no. It's not something they'd want to know about. |

Our children all know we swing found out by our youngest when we were on another sites chatroom. He told his big sis and she stormed into the room "Are you swingers" told her the truth and she said as long as it's safe and not at home it's ok. We all laughed. |

A couple of my close friends know, but we don't talk about it often. Even went to a local club with one friend, although did our separate thing while there.

A couple of my (Mr N) friends who I know I can absolutely trust to tell no one know. They like hearing stories of our antics. One is gay and into rubber and fetish stuff and had shared personal stuff of his own with me, so I knew I could trust him. The other is a vanilla mate who likes to live vicariously through us I think.
Our kids would really struggle with it I suspect so I don't particularly want them to find out, but if they ever did I'm sure we could have a sensible conversation about it.
I don't think my work would approve at all.
I'm glad I have a couple of people i can confide in. I'd go mad not being able to talk about it.

My grown up kids probably have an idea my sex life is not entirely hetero normative but like all kids they really don't want to think about their parents sex life and I respect that.
Katie gives an edited version to her closest friends. They know she has an open relationship and has sex with other men but not about threesomes, gangbangs etc. |

Our close friends know, and they are very curious about it..... want to come to a club with us sometime....
And are neighbours asked us outright as they suspected all our weekend trips to uk where swinger related...... turns out they where so curious we now fuck together on a regular basis....
I also think my mum as an idea.
We don’t shout it from rooftops but are not ashamed at all of it. If asked we would answer truefully. We do not hurt anyone and both very very very much enjoy the lifestyle.

Keep it to myself, have done for 15 years, started at 18 yrs old. Never kiss and tell. Only friends ive met through this lifestlye know and plan to keep it that way. |

We keep it completely separate from family, a few of our friends know that we are open to taking a girl home every now and again however that’s just more of a passing knowledge rather than something that is what people define us as.
F discusses it more among her friends than M, models are pretty open sexually so her being bi is on the very lower end of the raise eyebrow scale, and beneficial because they’re a good group of people to have fun with!

A few close friends know most of them are married GFs who use my place in the day to have sex with lovers. My sister has a vague idea that I have multiple sex partners (I'm single so not a stretch to imagine that) and thinks I sleep with 2-3 guys in a year (LOL!!!) and thinks I'm "overdoing" it. She's a prude and thinks I'll go to hell. She'd probably die if she found out the reality LOL. Parents, no way. I work for the NHS so have to be careful at work but sex between coworkers is quite common at where I work.
For some reason society thinks is somewhat OK to have sex with a few different partners but horribly frowns on swinging as such. Go figure. |

We have some friends that know and will occasionally discuss it with us. The ones that do know are often very interested in our stories and one or two have shown an interest in doing it themselves.
We don’t think any family know but if they did I doubt they’d be surprised! I think most of our family would just pretend it wasn’t happening!
We do enjoy the fact that this is mostly our secret life and no one knows everything apart from us. |

My niece does. I'd been chatting with a friend of hers and she showed my niece my picture! I got a fb message from my niece - we had a laugh about it. She said 'your secret is safe with me' lol! |

I broached the subject with my oldest male friend once and got the message he really didn't get it or approve, and I really wouldn't trust any other male friend to keep quiet or remain adult about the lifestyle. In fact, it's been quite eye-opening to find out long standing friends hold quite victorian views on swinging. More than one become green eyed monsters at the thought of another man even looking at their partner, so god knows how they'd react to the notion of sharing her with another bloke. Funnily enough, they'd be quite keen to see them with another woman
