You probably need to extend on your question a bit further. But I would imagine it’s no different to whether you swing alone, in a relationship or team up with someone.
You discuss what you guys are looking for and boundaries, and then share with potential meets.
We’ve seen fuckbuddys at clubs that have mixed results. Sometimes a single guy will team up with a woman just to gain entry into a couples night and then totally disappear.
Of course this can happen with bonafide couples, but usually on a much lower scale.
This scenario can be frowned upon from genuine couples. Not only on the man, but can also affect your credibility. So please be aware of this.
It’s not a rule, but a situation you may want to think what position you’d like to be in (no pun intended). |

My ex FWB told me FWB rules applied when he invited me overnight upon separating from wife but he did not say what the rules were and said I should Google it. It's a minefield to be honest XXX |

I think there’s probably a difference between FWB and FB, and then again in the swinging arena.
Either way, there should be respect and expectations set when meeting someone for no strings sex.
There aren’t any rules as such, but a mutual agreement between two people.
Then when it comes to swinging, the respect and expectations amplify, as there are more people involved.
I think your FWB demonstrated a lack of respect. Whether he was trying to be stupid or clever I don’t know. But what I do know is the internet of things is always going to give you many answers, some contrasting, and not always definitive. I’m sure Wik o pedia and the urban dict will give you different definitions and layers of the term. |

Do other things too...not just booty calls. Both have been to theatre, gigs, even weekends away etc.
Involve them in your life as you would other friends...both know my sister as friends. Have met up with her without me.
Keep it open...no strict ties.

Don't let things get emotional..... no feelings except lust and want.
Had to end 2 fb /fwb relationships because of feelings and jealousy from them.
If it is an exclusive 1 on 1 relationship then make that clear. |

I've had three fb relationships (not from fab) and all three women ended up wanting me to have a relationship and said they'd fell for me. Don't get me wrong I had feelings for them but could draw a line in the sand and knew what I wanted from the relationship. I need a cold hearted woman lol. |

Can be a minefield. However, we've both had fb's in our pasts and it would appear that Re and I approached the whole thing in a similar fashion, just have fun and don't get attached. |
