A time waster is someone who wastes your time, albeit 1 minute to 1 hour +.
For example, we travelled to meet a couple, no show = time waster
We messaged a guy because he said he could accommodate. After 4 or 5 messages, he can't accommodate because kids live at home. Collectively, wasted 10 to 15 minutes = a time waster.
So as soon as you invest your time into communicating where the other person has advertised under false presences etc.. they've wasted your time = a time waster.
A time waster just doesn't mean someone that's doesn't show up to a meet. |

"You'll never get rid of time wasters completely but you can put certain things in place to minimise their effect.
I'm defining a time waster as someone who arranges to meet then doesn't show up."
tome, it is only this..anything is just flotsam.. |

Would you be ok with chatting to someone for a couple of weeks, who said they can accommodate, only to meet miles from where you live and be told, while you're having a drink in a bar, that they don't actually accommodate, but could you suck his cock in an alley, on the way back to the station? |

"Do we all get rid of the time wasters
Good luck we’ve been swamped with them and the guys pretending to be women etc it’s murder "
The thing is, if you get this happening do you ever say to yourself "not gonna get messed about like that again" and adjust your approach to avoid this happening again .
We can learn from our mistakes, if we don't, then we deserve to get the same outcome. Harsh I know, but a lesson we all need to know in life if we are to progress. |

Another type of time waster are those that just put sarccy comments on the forum. Someone asks a question and he/she reads down them all just to find they've wasted their time. |

Good advice...live, learn, and forget them (or tell stories about your experiences to inform others) |

For us, a time waster is someone who arranges to meet us and then doesn't show up when we've travelled to meet them. Anything else is just spending time socialising.
We've been called time wasters by a couple who messaged us 4 times in a row without a reply from us. They hadn't read our profile and were after totally different things to what we'd written in our bio. They signed off the last message calling us time wasters for not replying and that we were destroying Fab... |

I think there is a bit of a difference between times wasters and folk that just bottle out..if somebody is a constant time waster then they should be thrown off sit if enough people have reported them..But if someone as just bottled out on the night they maybe should be given another chance ..All we ask when we have a meet setup is that if you do feel you are going to bottle out or find you can not make it please let us know in good time ..and most actually do let us know if they can not make because we have given them the option to let us know |

Or arrange a meet and then conveniently something comes up ie family arrive or similar ,so they suddenly cant accom.

I have a confession to make
Yesterday after 6 days of no smoking I was in a particularly cunty mood and think I may have told the timewasters what for with my replies back to them
Felt good at the time but I’m nice really ... promise |

Guess what I got - complete opposites ! And the withdrawal from nicotine made me crazy keyboard warrior pmsl |

Wow!! That’s appalling!!
I think I’d have said ‘that’s fine, but can we eat first’, ordered a really expensive dinner, gone to the ladies & made a sharp exit, leaving him with the bill!! |

Depends what you class as a time waster, if they deliberately make out they want the same as you when they don't and are just stringing you along then you can treat them like shit as far as I'm concerned, if you're getting to know somebody and find you want different things then you may have wasted your time but so have they, so a polite "were looking for different things" message should be all that's needed. |

The time wasters/no shows appear to get an incredibly high number of meets on here. Too many people getting sucked in by the bullshit maybe. If they sound too good to be true then they probably are. |

I've been called a time waster it was my first bi meet and I was nervous as hell. I'll be honest I backed out because of my fear. But I explained this and the abuse followed. I have bitten the bullet now and love it. I always let people know if I can not make it. But I always do my best. |

Not necessarily but agree that there are some on here that do have great verifications so you speak agree to meet and they disappear why can’t they just say sorry not for me/us rather than leading you on. |

We all don't, you can only use you one system to work out who is a time waster and who is not by your own definition.
If you are getting lots of no shows for meets then you need to look at how you check them out. |

We only chat to and meet people with a couple of veris. Broke that rule a couple of months ago and they were indeed time wasters so we’re sticking with that method from now on. |

I meet rarely. In the 4 years or so I have been on and off here I have not had a no show. I have had conversations dry up but that is just the nature of things. I don't do any 'checking out' techniques. I just chat and see how things go. |

Brilliant. The bruised egos of people turned down on here are amazing.
"I was told yesterday that I couldn't afford to be fussy by the female half of a couple, if she'd have read my profile she wouldn't have wasted her time messaging me in the first place lol. "
