We are considering trying the bdsm scene but have no idea where to start looking. We have dabbled in light bondage, but are looking to take things further, but don't know much about the scene or where to go. Any advice would be greatly received!! |

There's an excellent Sunday fet event at Eureaka's, think it's twice a month. Other than that go find your local munch and get to know people on the scene and got to other events. It;s the best way to see what sort of play others do and what might interest you |

There are some very good books on the subject too. Have a look on any internet retail site and see what seems suitable for you.
When it comes right down to it if you decide between yourselves what direction you want to go in and research around the subject a bit (as you are doing)you are in for a lot of fun and an exciting time |

Why not try visiting a professional Dom or Dominatrix? That way you know it's not just someone pretending to be a Dom, as this site is full of them.
Do your research though on professional Doms or better still have a recommendation from someone who has been.

I would suggest that you separately take the bdsm test to check that you are on the same page in regard to what each of you are looking for from bdsm. The result can guide you in the direction that you require and open your eyes to the range of kink. |

Also Google a bdsm checklist and both fill that in seperately and then swap and compare notes.
You won't be into everything on it but also approach it with an open mind regarding What you may be prepared to try.
Then on the things you match up start researching |
