I can't believe it hasn't been sorted somehow, the & sign was getting turned into 'amp' when I had my first profile onsite about 7 years ago.
I just view it now as part of the Fab furniture. That and the legal bullshit on hundreds of profiles are like the knackered two armchairs in the corner with stuffing falling out and the odd protruding spring jabbing you in the arse. |

"Kinky Minx, I could kiss you, I had my money on ample
It makes sense, as & is know as a ampersand.

It's one of those little things that's a complete mystery until you're told and you knew anyway |

"I'm sure its simple, but on a profile, what does the term amp;amp;amp mean.
Please put me out my misery.
Cheers "
It's because whoever wrote the code forgot to post to the database with addslashes before inserting the string, obviously you would need to add stripslashes before displaying the string too |

Ampersand is the 27th letter in the Victorian alphabet. It is so named as after....X.Y.Z they said "and, per se, and" which became "ampersand". "Per se" meaning "by itself".
I am going for geek of the week award... |
