Ok, so i have had psoriasis for a lot of years now, and it shows as red patches on arms legs and torso. Thankfully the junk in the trunk is not affected lol. Anyway, as mature adults in a club, would you personally consider this an instant no go, or actualy talk to me and see what the craic was? Intrrested in peoples oppinions. TIA

Some people will talk to you and try and find out the person behind the body and some won't.

If forum posts are anything to go by personality comes before looks every time and very few of us go by looks first. I'm one of the few who go by looks so my honest answer is that I would talk to you for sure but overall physical attraction is important to me so if I didn't find you attractive that's all it would be, a chat. However for me psoriasis wouldn't be a factor in me finding you attractive.

some where in yorkshire

I have it really bad and it makes me so anxious n self conscious it really puts me off meeting new people as I think they wud think I’m some sort of freak ... I’ve chatted to some lovely guys and when it came to them asking to meet I just couldn’t do it I was too scared and anxious due to my skin!

Now I just tell any one I’m chatting to with view to meeting about it straight away and if is going to put them off at least we both know , I’ve only had 1 person say no to meeting cos of it and the guys I have met (some many times) have not even mentioned it or let it spoil any fun.

It’s a horrible skin condition and just wish they could find something to cure the damn thing , mine is quite bad at the mo the worst I’ve ever had it so back to c the dermatologist when my appointment comes through and til then it’s back on the sunbeds for me.

I am normally uber confident, probably over compensation tbh. There is nothing quite like putting your self out there on the meat market to amplify your body insecurities. I know that its the same for everyone, i suppose we all have to pull up our big boys and girl pants and keep puting ourselfs out there tho, or whats the point? We are all here for more or less the same thing at a base level, so i suppose natural selection will out, just take a ticket and wait for our number to come up.
