"We have a large set of toys that we stuck in the loft whe we moved. Now looking to get rid of them and there's a few. How does everyone else dispose of the vibrators, when they are worn out." I’ll have them xx

Just dispose of them in your bin in the normal way, but as someone else said, wrap them well first!
I can remember years ago, someone moving house a few doors up, had put several vibrators in their dustbin to dispose of. When the bin men took the lid off he took them out, one by one, cheering and displaying them to the whole street. |

I believe you can send them to lovehoney who dispose of them nicely. However that is done. I like to picture them in a peaceful dildo graveyard. With little headstones "here lies jens favourite dildo. It was great while it lasted" |

When we had a vibrator (that still worked) that we wanted to dispose of we went down to the communal industrial metal bins, turned it on and chucked it in there. We chose an empty bin on purpose, just for comedy value.. the bloody thing made an horrendous echoing racket jumping around inside the bin!
When we came back a short while later the vibrator was still going like the clappers .
...Maybe we should have kept it! |

We pull the motor out and put it in the recycle bag. The neighbour is in her 80's, we thought about sitting it on top of her plastic recycling, that'll get the bin men talking, lol |

"We have a large set of toys that we stuck in the loft whe we moved. Now looking to get rid of them and there's a few. How does everyone else dispose of the vibrators, when they are worn out." Years ago I discreetly planted one in an EX’s garden , left him a note to say that it may grow some day x

Lovehoney. They'll recycle the electrical battery type and dispose the dildo's in the bin. That's where I sent mine when I learned about toxic sex toys and wanted to get rid of them all. |

"Charity shop? "
Funny you should say that.
A few years back I was walking through our local town and glanced in the window of a local charity shop.
There in the window was a blow up Cow.
Something made me go back for a second look as it looked similar to one we bought from a sex shop for my brother in law for Christmas for a laugh years ago ( he opened it in front of the whole family, heh!).
It was indeed the same, the shop was not only closed but also run by a gaggle of sweet elderly ladies and I still can picture the thought of one of them blowing it up and the others admiring it prior to putting it on display in the window.
I left a note in their letter box and it was gone the next day.

Aren't they sent to China and recycled into dental floss. |

You could bury the dildos in your back garden but you might attract squatters |

Dont do like I did, consign it (them) to a pile of combustible waste for the bonfire. Then forget they were there and ask the kids to help with building the bonfire. |

I’ve used mine to create a cockery in my garden. I planted them between a selection of silver balls and in the centre I had my good old friend my 12 inch dildo where I had drilled a hole through the centre and fed a pipe through and connected to a pump. Now I have a brightly coloured cockery water display that at the click of a button or several moves rythmically The birds love to perch on the tips so I’ve created little cups at the base of the dildos to hold bird seed. It’s such a beautiful sight to see all the blue tits pecking away at the nuts |

"What can I send in to be recycled?
You can send us anything that is classed as WEEE (Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment). If it's a sex toy, it must have vibrating parts - we do not accept dildos."
And it's called 'Rabbit Amnesty'" |
