We reply to all messages, not to would be rude. If that person turns out to be an odd bod by further replies despite being declined, then we hit block.
If we send messages and they go unread for any length or time or read and no reply, then we just block them.
Unfortunately, one of our prerequisites to possibly meet them is that they must have the ability to handle a simple basic message system. If they can't, what else are they going to struggle with. |

I have replied in the past saying thank you for letting me know. I don't think about them having an extra message to delete. I think about myself wanting to be polite back to someone who took the time to get back to me. If you consider being polite 'more shit' that's not my problem frankly. |

No one can say what the man was thinking when he sent the message.
It's possible it was sarcasm and it's possible it was politeness and genuine gratitude
I can understand why men want to appear polite even if rejected or ignored if there is a chance you may cross paths at a club or social etc which has happened to me and I'm happy to chat to the polite ones |
