I had a message a while back from a guy who insisted he was 57. His pictures were taken inside his residential home and it was obvious he was in his 70's

I lie by a few weeks to not put my genuine birthday on the site, I have actually said I am a bit older than my real age. The overall result is a belief I cant perform and exclusion by many. Better than pretending something else. |

One thing we have never got our heads around will meet 18 to 99 years old we had a mail years ago from a man telling us he was 50 we arranged a meet think the zimmer frame gave it away as we sat in pub car park was totally shocked!!!when he arrived hence did not get out of the car |

How is age so relevant? There are 30 years old that look worn out and 50 years old that could model.

On a previous profile I met 2 guys who confessed to being 10 years older than their profile ages. The 1st of them could almost pass for his fake age but the other, lord knows how he thought he was going to get away with it. Both were told to toddle off again, I do not like being lied to. |

Yes looks don’t matter a lot when it comes to me but uploading 5 years ago pics. And we meet in a car park,it’s a unforgiven sin. Be happy with your age,someone will like you for who you are. I was pissed off. |

Most guys lie because they think it'll help them meets. Alot of older guys think women want younger men. I've been tempted to I have to admit. I found a woman who sounded great and I thought we'd hit it off but her profile aid no younger than 30. I didn't in the end but it's a shame cos I think we'd have a great time. Not worth lying in my eyes as your obviously gonna get found out. |

So what's wrong with being 70 or more? Too many women immediately rule out men over a certain age. It's blatant ageism.
Age = experience and wisdom. And we can 'perform'!
We have more to talk about and most of us know how to manage a good relationship. We are not 'past it' and we don't all have 'carers'!
70 is the new 50.

It isn't ageism or prejudice and when choosing casual sex partners the age of the body might well come in to it.

Alot of women on here lie about bum sizes and boob sizes but you don't see men ranting
When I first joined fab I set my age on my profile to 25 but I was actually 20 and didnt really take the website seriously as i thought it was just one of those silly dating sites.
My first meet was unexpected and really took me by surprise (omg this site actually works )
Anyway as time went by I adjusted my profile to show my actual age and people actually wrote to me asking why I never got older |

1. The older guys saying "Give us a chance, experience yada yada" So why are you not looking for females nearer your own age? Or do you?
2. Ladies saying the have no intention of meeting men old enough to be their dad, while having age preferences set low enough to be shagging their son

Most people don't take this site seriously enough because there's to many fakes and not enough women on here to balance out the ratios plus its ok for women to cheat lie and steal but as soon as a guy get caught with his pants down its game over unfortunately can't keep everyone happy to best just to go with the flow. Nowadays however plenty of women WANT their bum to look big in what they're wearing ha, so it's far easier to just be honest than play a guessing game of what they would prefer.
To answer the OP, I've found more women lie about their age than men, but then again I've had more actual chats or meets with women than men so I'd have simply come across more of them. For the OP I'd guess the opposite is true.

I turned 35 last month. That is my real age. Don't see the point in using false information to trick people into meeting. That goes for height and other things people lie about on their profiles.

Definitely difficult to prove but its dishonest thus making it fake in my opinion as purely a deceptive and inaccurate profile. Report for sure.
I see no need for people to lie. Take me for example, I am young at the age of twenty one so naturally I come across a lot of profiles I like and the minimum age is 25, would I deceive someone despite being able to pull it off? No, of course I wouldn’t. There’s just no need for it, more so a lot of women have their filters set a certain way but are not strict on it, they have it to restrict age groups that tend to be an issue for them. But anyone who does have an interest me can always mail me if they need to so nothing lost through lying. |

I'm honest on my profile about my age but when you look at most upper age limit they cut off at 45 to 48 so there loads I can't message as I'm 50 but I refuse to lie about my age aching balls or not lol |

In terms of appealing to the highest number of people, 35 is probably bang on the best age to be as many have their upper age limit and many as their lower age limit at that number due to it being halfway between 30 and 40.
Which means you are "suitable" for both of these wishlists. That being said I haven't noticed much difference in my appeal to others between being 35 and 39 really. |
