Is it fake? Or just misleading?

Jump to: Newest in thread

The situation, there is a guy, playing as a single and also with a new fuck buddy, but using both a single male profile and a couples profile from with his old partner who no longer plays.

Now here is the kicker, the guy has verifications on this profile since the partner stopped playing which are with another woman. So as these 2 women are vastly different on being late 20's the other mid 40's shouldn't another profile be used as it is at the very least misleading! And makes you question the validity of the recent verifications!

This to me highlights the need for photo verifications needing a renewal date, quarterly perhaps!

What are others thoughts on the subject?

Personally I think if he is now a single male, then he should be using a single male profile, unless he & his fuck buddy make one together.

I'm surprised the ex hasn't been on the site to delete the account.

I'd report him. I'm sure there's rules about having non-members in photographs etc, so there must be rules against having an account stating you're with someone when you're not.

It does sound really dodgy.

I think the idea of renewing photo verification's is a good idea.

It's another reason why I think cam verification's are a good thing as you can see BOTH parties. I do feel cam verification's shouldn't be dismissed as much as some people feel they should be.

i think as he is no longer playing with the old person he started a profile with it should be deleted and a fresh one started.

I think I'd report the profile to admin - that's totally not fair to try and get meets off the back of verifications received with a different partner.

Good to see many of a similar mindset, sometimes you feel "am I being a snitch" but then I think its just about keeping the site real for others.

The majority of couples photos show only the female in various stages of undress but seldom her face. I'd be curious to now how you can assume it's the same person if the body shape is roughly the same. I'm sure Admin don't have a body recognition programme running.

You cannot drop "fakes" all you can do is report them. You also won't get Admin to force people to be photo verified. Nothing to stop people starting up their own sites and have as their usp you MUST be photo verified every three months, you MUST...whatever.

No matter what, some people still won't get laid!

Firstly its not about anyone getting laid or getting laid. And its not about forcing people to be photo verified. It was a possible solution to the scenario where someone for whatever reason ceases swinging with their partner but maintains the profile with the verifications.

And also it is not about assuming it is the same person it is that the partner is no longer playing, there is no assuming the guy told me on several emails when he was describing his current situation. Having known the guy through the scene its not about assuming.

Does help to read the post correctly and not go off about something else LOL the post is about whether in this scenario it is just misleading or whether the guys profile as a couple with a partner who is no longer playing is in fact really now a fake!

Let's stay on the right track people

Spot on.

I (maybe im innocent and nieve, lol) treat this as a swinging community and those that want to enjoy that community help others and the site to improve it.

Sometimes that means reporting profiles as you think they break the site rules or are other wise iffy.

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

I wouldn't say it's 'fake' per se as one of the couple is still around on the profile. It is definitely misleasding thoguh and I would expect the female details to be deleted and a note on the profile saying that, although they are no longer together, he is playing with someone else.

Report! Admin knows what to do in this situation and they should set up a new profile.

Very misleading....the new couple should make their own profile I think.

Yes I think its misleading and should be reported to admin I think.

You can't agreed to meet people using a profile which advertises a woman and on the night turn up with a completely different woman and then receive verifications on that same profile. Its bloody stupid.

It would be like a couple contacting us and arranging a meet and expecting me, a small, white, blonde 43 year old woman, and my partner on the night turning up with a 6ft 20 year old black woman. And then verifying the profile. Its fake and certainly misleading. Noone should be allowed to get meets on the back of someone elses profile

But if she's better looking, better at sex and sucks like a dyson then I'm happy to receive her verifications

Central

Old profile should be deleted, and he should have a new profile as a couple - new partner willing, of course, whether the old one was verified or not/with or without photos.

Profile's don't need to be for life, unlike puppies/kittens etc, and there are many of us who have left/rejoined and it's a pleasure to see them back.

As for photo recency etc, the same for mandated profile updates could be argued, as people's details change over time: it's potentially an admin nightmare, so is probably best left as it is for now, but reminders to all members could be a welcome new site feature, if nothing's been changed in a given period etc.

Don't feel bad about reporting: you're not asking for someone to be deleted, you're informing the moderators of the data that you have, and leaving it to them to ensure that members conform to the site rules that they've agreed to.

report him its dodgy if he is single should hv a single profile. i meet a guy who once we meet told me he still used the couples profile although he was single. i reported him straight away. its misleading if your looking for couples.

I dont get all these fuck fuddie profiles

Why would you set up a profile with someone you meet every now and again for a shag?

The amount of guys i get mail off with couples profiles, and then when i say i dont meeet couples they reply, im single shes just a fuck buddie

I mean why would you set up a profile with someone your not in a relationship with then use that profile to message people to meet without her?

Do men think they will get more meets having a couples profile and meeting alone than just having a singles one?

To me if your single your single, have a single profile and just state you have a fuck buddie you can meet with

Couldn't he just re write his profile and update details and hide old verifications? Wouldn't that be the easiest way for all?

Reply privately (thread closed by moderator)

By (user no longer on site) OP     over a year ago

that would be one solution but i think it more he likes to make use of the verifications.

If people just kept things simple and honest we wouldn't even be having said discussion, for me if your single use a single profile, you can always mention a FB as a note on profile if needs be. Nothing worse than chatting and the whole thing getting more and more convoluted and weird.

"...The amount of guys i get mail off with couples profiles, and then when i say i dont meeet couples they reply, im single shes just a fuck buddie "

I agree 100% and the phrase 'hedging their bets' springs to mind. Guys know that couples have a better chance of getting a meet than a single guy does, so they crave 'couple' status. Their dishonesty then ruin their chances of a meet with ladies such as Naughty Nymphos and myself, who only play with single men.

OP, report the profile, and help keep Fab pleasant for the whole community. x

+ plenty I'm sure.

Can't be a case of "oversight" if he still has an active profile on here.

So as we have all agreed, it should be reported and let Admin do their stuff.

Will shut this now.
