Has anyone else come across the fake profiles on here from guys obviously pretending to be female though ( as they using own names still ) what do they get out of it i wonder and ruining the site for genuine guysn girls |

what do you mean by 'using their own names'? some one said the same yesterday..i can see theres plenty of, usually easy to spot, men with fake female profiles, but ive never seen one called Dave or similar? |

Male of the profile speaking.
If you think about it, it's really profoundly sad.
Not only are these men so lonely and unable to find attention that they pretend to be someone else on here, they continue to try to lie even though there is a huuuuge stigma about it in the forum's and on the vast majority of profiles they read. They literally have to read about how annoying and sad they are for lying daily.
Also, if they do get a bit of attention as their alter who's, male or female, it serves no other purpose in the long run other than to convince them that they themselves are not worthy of anyone's attention or sexual advances. They must just end up feeling a bitter sense of resentment for either the other gender, or for the more attractive members of the site.
I literally couldn't think of a worse existence on here, I'd rather be honest and lonely, than never be able to take things further than a flirt pretending to be someone else.

I see this being said so many times and reiterated by so many people who really have no idea who is making the fake profile. Yes no doubt some will be men, the majority maybe because men are the majority on her, but equally some are men from couples profiles, having seen it myself and my own theory is that a lot are created by kids just that they can view the cams and pictures and wind people up. |

Iv said this on a previous post,if they say they are interested then ask them to prove they are a woman via a witheld phone call or cam, if they refuse just just move on. Simples. |

In person verifications is the only id meet soneone. Says alot. In fact nothung says genuine then reading in person veris. Plus I only do coffee socials before potential sexual meets. If they're fake or not look as they say, I've only lost 1hr of my time and the cost of buying my own drink. Worth it in my opinion. Rather that then get all dolled up, make the effort to travel to his house at my cost and time for him to not be who he said.  |

I've had several abusive messages from People I've never spoken to accusing me of being a time wasting man some even reported me I'm not sure what on my profile gives the impression I'm a man |

yes one or two - one even managed to get me to call 'them' but 'she' was too shy to chat on the phone - reported and removed and into the wilderness 'he ' went  |

I've had this a couple of times too! Maybe it's because i never replied to their messages? Not been reported yet but been blocked numerous times. If they're that petty and ridiculous it's hardly my loss is it? Xx |

Genuine profiles will have more than 2 Verifications from other verified people by meeting in person. They will have pics of them both together if a couple. Their verifications will be within the last 6 months. They won't try to get you on kik or whatsapp or anything like.
Any couple or female using the word 'gosh' in a message is a definite fake profile, 100%!.
New profiles will be furnished quickly if real as it doesn't take long, face pics and demanding face pics is a red flag too. Too shy to chat means not real, as they'd deffo be too shy to meet  |

What do they get out of it? Fantasy wank fodder.
There have been fake women profiles on sites such as these for years. Don't know how they are ruining it for other people. Either chat and let them have a nice wank or say no thank you. |

This subject winds me up as I've had many men accuse me of being a man, when I'm not interested in them. Especially with a new profile. It's very off putting when you first join. |

I often don't trust the profiles that ask for a face pic on their profile or the first message. It makes me suspicious. 
I am guessing that some are blokes who want to set up a meet then who knows what happens when someone turns up...bribery maybe or trouble even.  |
