Can someone steal your photos for example a single man steal a womans photos and put them on his profile even tho he is a single man. Can he do that or would admin stop a single male putting a picture of a lone females face on a single mans profile as it does state that all pictures have to be of the person in the profile and if its a single female alone then the man clearly isnt in the profile.....is it possible? |

Thats what i thought and am hoping it is the case. I noticed on here last week somewhere about right clicking on your picture in your profile to stop people stealing it ro something but cant find it now. just wanting to make sure my pictures are safe x |

It's pointless and gives a false sense of security, reasons why in the FAQ.

I had pictures copied and sent to my employer from a site who said it was not possible to do so.
everyone needs to realise that their is no privacy on the net and that anything you post be in in pictures or words is then public property no matter what the site is.

I know I read about it on here somewhere.
but Admin can you confirm that a single woman picture would not be allowed on a single mans profile if no man in the picture.....that will put my mind at rest knowing its not allowed

When ever you visit a website a copy of those files ( images, text, banners etc ) is sent from the server to your computer and assembled in your browser.
If your using Firefox or Chrome you can use the media browser in the menu to find all media from that website and copy it out from there to somewhere safe for them.
You no longer need to right click to copy content from the screen.
So what does this mean ? First of all your content ( images , photos etc ) if someone can see them on their computer then they can be copied.
Any web site that says "people cannot copy your photographs from our site" is being misleading since if a person can surf to see your profile then they can see them they can copy those images to their personal collection.
Some websites put up a watermark on the image locking the image to the site and this certainly makes it harder to pull and re use an image but its not a perfect answer.
Sadly there is nothing you can do to stop it other than rely on the kindness of admins and users

A picture of a female on her own on a single man's profile would not be allowed because the account holder isn't in the pic.

Thanks for confirming that.
Sometimes its just good to know it wouldn't be allowed on a male single profile. |

J had pics stolen on another site - the guy used the pics to pretend it was his cock... In theory J should have been complimented!! But we need to be super discrete because of our jobs... And were actually just creeped out!
Another guy used our pics to make a video... And put his face where J's was... Creepy as hell...
I have a little knowledge about this and if the pics are freely available via a search then anyone can 'use' them...
Do fab 'protect' the pics then?!
All ours are private - expect profile pic but no one is likely to recognise me from that!! Lol!

I have seen females in males photos and wondered why some are allowed and not others. When I posted a photo with the side of someone else's head it was rejected but other profiles have them with full faces. Is this just down to the individual approving them? |

It shouldn't be, most probably an accident in approving them.
Report any pictures that you think are against rules, and they get taken off. |

I have a male friend on this site and I spotted his ass pic on another guy's profile. My mate mailed him and asked to to take his ass off the guys profile which he did. |

Any pics we have in public view are non identifiable (ie, faces and tattoos are hidden). Any of those pics could be shown to our family and they wouldnt have an idea they were us.
We are quite particular who gets access to our 'pals only' pics, which have got faces, tattoos on show.
If your one to have lots of peeps on your friends list, then consider having normal, clothed, non sexual face pics as 'pals only' pics. If these get stolen/copied then the person stealing them must of got them off facebook.... or at least thats what you tell the wife/boss/family

yes - happened to us! someone stole our pics.
This guy living near us messaged us and had some pics on his profile where I recognised the christmas decoration in the background... then I thought ... thats me in the picture!!!
When asking him who that lady was he said a couple he met regularly but have now moved away.
In the meantime I have reported him. After 5 mins he changed his username in "user not longer on site"
ALL pictures on the internet can easily be copied onto anyone's computer.
We seperate our pics - either normal facepics or naughty pics without face...
some people really are sad that they have to advertise with other peoples pics.
I even caught a guy who had a pic of a cock on his profile what I have seen on a different profile..... lol might have been the same guy though ?!?!?

I had some of my pics pinched on here. The silly bugger then uploaded them onto his profile and made out that that was him. I was very flattered, then I reported him. He was bounced. |

you can easily lift pics off here
Your pics do have your user name and site alone the bottom but that can easily be cropped off and then re posted on another profile
Ive done it with my own pics
When i split with the ex i had no photos at all as i had to buy a new pc, the only pics i had where the ones i had already posted on here, i joined another site and because i had no photos to post i lifted my own pics off here, cropped the pic down so the web address wasnt showing and posted on the other site
if i can do it anyone can |

There are loads of 'single' male profiles with women's pics on.. why? I've even seen some male profiles with only pics of women and none of the guy. It shouldn't be allowed.. or if it is, they should be in the persons private gallery.
I had my pics copied. It was only that I received a mail from somebody on here saying I should go take a look at a certain profile.. and bang.. there was my pic. |

As lots have said....women on mens profiles are not allowed unless the man is in the photograph too and the womans face / tattoos etc are not visible as mentioned on the full photo rules below.
http://www.fabswingers.com/articles/photo-rules
Just report any that have been approved by mistake and Admin take them off again, it really is that simple. |
