My first forum post so please be kind!!
I’m ashamed to admit that in the 8 months I’ve been here I’ve only ever sent the first message to 1 person! I’ve never needed to make the first move but now I’m more confident in what I’m looking for I would like to send an opening message to a couple of people! My question is, I’ve no idea how to start, what sort of content is required. I’ve read and re read the profiles of my unsuspecting victims  I just don’t know how to make the first move!!
Any help and advice would be greatly received  |

In all honesty most men get so fwe messages that a polite 'hello I like your profile would you like to chat' is probably more than enough to get a response if they are interested |

Be yourself and pick up on something on the profile that interests you . hopefully they will respond and you an all take it from there. Also suggest no text speak and check spellings before sending. (yeah I know not everyone is bothered about text speak or bad spelling but a lot are!) Good luck and happy fabbing x |

Simple.
Say hi, be yourself, tell them what attracts you to their profile, comments, likes, or photos that you like. And suggest why you think they might like you too? I.E. similar interests.
It's easy, some people will reply and some won't. That's life. I always reply.

This is true. You could go on to say you murder badgers and smear their entrails all over them selves and you're still like to get responses lol |

As others have said OP just be yourself, tell them a little about you and why you're messaging them - leave some questions in there maybe to give them something to respond to.
Another option might be, if they're forumites, picking up on a post they've made in a thread and commenting privately on that - it's often the way I get chatting to people.

Be yourself, explain a little what attracted you to their profile and read the profile in full, there may be a little hidden word contained within the text, it's an easy way to to see who reads the profile and who just trawls. Be honest, because if and when you do meet they will see you warts and all. As a single lady make sure your first meets are somewhere public as it's not that easy to tell friends you are meeting someone from a swingers site. Most of all, have fun, we do. |

Tailor your message to the bio/profile. Be polite and don't send pum pum pictures lol |

I giggle when i see code words in profiles. I've never quoted one even though they claim they wint reply if it's not used. People just wanna know you've read their profile. You can show that without using any daft code words. Just my opinion |

The best start is to read the profile of your intended. Add any keywords in the title they call for and then point out the ways in which your profile interests match. Include a face photo early on.
If you come across as polite and sociable then you should get a first meeting.

I figure if i met someone in a pub, bar, shopping etc id introduce myself by simply saying 'Hello' and wait for a hello back, i get this isnt a bar pub etc but its seems to work for me  |
