Hi, this is Alex, the male half of the profile with a weird question.
We all have our preferences on this site and this is not a thread to criticise or chastise for people's individual tastes.
However I am at times conflicted when I read some profiles, you see there are times when a lady or couple will state clearly they do not meet black, white, Asians, middle eastern, etc...
Now I was born in Latin America and as a result I have darker skin than Sandy however where does that put me?
I ask because to some people (these situations have happened) I am considered black, to others I am considered Caucasian and those who see me in between would see me as Asian or middle eastern, I guess few people assume I am Latin/Hispanic.
It is not my intention to waste people's times when we message someone, but it's hard to know if I am not what they are looking for.
I guess I am just looking for other's views or opinions on this or if anyone has had the same complication. |

Was just revising the profile as You wrote that.
That said it doesn't stop people from labelling me as something else, heck I've been labelled as Black one evening and Caucasian in another LoL.
Maybe it's just an issue I have had, I guess I was just sharing and curious if someone had faced a similar issue.

I'd like to think that just like people often state they will not meet smokers, it hopefully, more comes down to a the level of initial sexual attration crossed by how well an initial introduction you make of yourself. Be that via your profile information and/or any contact between each other..
*shrug*
Or maybe thats just us. We've both very liberal and like to think that we live in a world without predudices. Unfortunately however, it inevitably comes down to how open a person the other party really is..
