Time waster

I'd say, next time rethink the 4 hour travel to meet someone. I assume you did all the checks to be sure your meet was real....phone call, etc?
I mostly only will meet locally, when I do, to eliminate the few time wasters I've encountered. If they are willing to come to me, all's good. And if not, I'm in my area so have other things I can do instead. |

Click on their profile and click report .
This will then give you the option yo tick the box where it says they arranged to meet and didn't show up .
You can also add a description regarding what you did etc...
It may make you feel a bit better doing this , but probably won't make much difference . |

To the OP, stick to people closer to home that way at least if they don't turn up you haven't wasted a whole lot of time and money.
There are some very odd people here who evidently get off on generally messing people about. It's not possible to avoid them all but what you can do is mitigate the hassle they can create for you by setting and sticking to some very simple rules such as restricting the distance you'll travel, asking to see them on camera and checking how long they've been site members etc.

I really find that difficult to understand. Given we all know how many fakes there are, why would you travel so far without checking the person was real?
The sad fact is some pathetic people get off on pulling stunts like that. Don't give them the satisfaction. |

If I was you I suggest going to arranged socials or clubs. We to have been let down by time wasters.you can arrange to meet people at clubs at least then if they don't turn up there are others to chat or play with. You have mingles in your area or jaydees or Va within an hours drive |

Sadly people bottle it OP, personally I rarely rush into meeting anyone for just this reason.. lots of people love the fantasy but fail when it comes to the reality |

All you can do is move on.
Pointless in reporting it too.
Take this as a lesson, make sure you've spoken to them over the phone. Politely asking for a video call to.
Don't take it personal either. Your no fool.
You did nothing wrong in this situation so don't let it dishearten you mate.
Another woman would more than appreciate you driving 4 hours to see them. |

Sorted now guys, thanks for the input.
In hindsight it is ridiculous to have travelled so far, it's just a learning curve.
Everyone is correct, there are some odd people out there. Some local meets have had me going somewhere then no one is around. |
