As a MF couple we are getting overwhelmed with messages from lads (18-21) young enough to be our sons. Don't get me wrong we're extremely flattered but struggling to get our heads around what someone so young would see in a couple our ages!

Granted they didn't say the word old. I apologize. Sorry OP couple. However they did mention YOUNG guys and then insinuated themselves as opposites. Read between the lines and come to the same conclusion. Old.
Like the rest of my post though, so what! Age really doesn't matter. I have met some.of the most boring 18 year olds and some of the most adventurous 65 year olds.

My step daughter is 20, but if an 18 year old seemed mature enough after some chat then why not? Same, if I was chatting to a 65 year old who still seemed fun and down to earth then again, what not? For me it's all about the person all connection not the labels attached to the person. |

Been mentioned earlier but they just want sex. They're probably mailing all the women and couples, not just the older (relatively) ones.
Saying they 'prefer' a mature woman is an ingratiating tactic to try and secure the sex.
If a young woman says yes they aren't going to say no I prefer more mature.

On a recent thread I mentioned that the eons of a friend of mine had added me on social media and there was no more to ot than them being friendly. Someone laughed at my naivety and said that they probably wanked themselves silly over me.
Now that about sums up the young man older woman thing. Nobody or very few is in it for the long term or a relationship. However as long as both parties consent and nobody is disrespectful where's the harm. |

I've met and slept with plenty of women older than me.
Age doesn't provide a blanket attraction.
Some women older than me I find attractive, some I don't.
Every time these threads come up, there's the usually bollocks about young guys just looking for a shag and being out of control hormonal messes. |

How is accepting a friend request on social media leading anyone on or stereotyping young men? Are you saying that I'm wrong and the young guys on here who want to meet older women actually want to date them, take them to pubs and restaurants...introduce them to their friends?

same here , weve had several young cples wanting to meet us in the last few mths, one cple we have met socialy at a club and they were chasing us not us them,

I'm 34 so not old (  ) But have had a few young guys contact us, despite our preference being late 20s. Never met any of the youngsters yet as I feel a bit uncomfortable about it. Always feel a bit self conscious, anyone else feel that? X |
