Briefly, I joined the site quite sometime ago, then didn't use it for a long period, now following a change in my circumstances I've have started to actively use it again and would welcome any constructive advice about my profile.
I appreciate that as a single mature man [over 50 is not over the hill ;o) ] I'm vastly outnumbered by the "young studs" in that large herd of the "single man," but it seems that if you haven't got a verified in person other members don't seem to want to know.
Finally are there any clubs in the NE, that I would be genuinely made welcome and not made to feel like a pariah, thanks |

We arent bothered if people are verified or not. after all they are someones elses opinions and we prefer to make our own. good luck and i am sure you have the edge on a lot of the young studs.  |

Haven't looked at your profile, but by your OP, I would say, get yourself along to a social, meet a few people, have a nice time and someone will give you a verification, thereby solving that issue. Good luck. |

i agree taken off the university line its not needed
i would like your profile if i was local but it does look like you are really looking for a long term relationship and for some thats exactly what they want for others it sounds too needy. However I would leave it in as its true and relevant
raise your desirable age above 50 for your ladies I am 55 really my p e may say younger but I would match you in stamina any day lol |

i take it you have changed your profile ,it looks good to me.
As for clubs, no club should make you feel like a pariah, however you need to be proactive and outgoing.
Clubf is your nearest, give it a go one Friday or Wednesday ,and remember you get out what you put in |
