Speaking as someone who has struggled with weight all my life, had a very toxic relationship with food for various reasons from childhood and who has recently lost 6.5 stone (and has another 7.5 stone to go), you have two choices.
If you like how you are, and are happy as you are, stay as you are. Embrace the big belly, love yourself for who you are and sod what anybody else thinks.
If you don't like how you are, if you aren't happy as you are, then change it. Only you have the power. But you have to do it for you, nobody else, otherwise you'll struggle to find the motivation and it won't work.
That's my two pennorth anyway lol x |

I have a fat tummy, I like to wear a Basque and stockings and keep it covered. I don't think it puts men off meeting me, if they want skinny ladies then they will approach them not me. In all fairness a lot of the men on Fab don't have perfect bodies either. XXX |

I can't have sex with very over weight men or men who can't hold their weight off of me. My body is too painful to bear the weight and it's painful to stretch my hips and groin over a large waist and stomach (that goes for big men who aren't very over weight too). Visually, skinny legs with a big, distended beer belly doesn't stimulate me. |

I cringe when people say, "If you don't like bla bla then pass me by", or, "Take me as I am or leave me" etc..
Here's an anology. You want to get a job and employers look for a certain kinda person. So you've got to get yourself more employable, as in, go and get those qualifications, get that driving licence, groomed and dressed well etc.. so you're more employable/appealing to a wider range of bosses.
Bodies can be built for speed or comfort (skinny to fat). To appeal to a wider 'fuck me' audience, which shape is more appealing? Probably average to toned shape.
So either get into shape to appeal to the wider audience or stick to social veris and a once in a blue moon shag.
So it's down to your motivation and to stick to a healthy diet and exercise plan, that's down to willpower. |

What society and people find attractive changes over time... People have only really become figure obsessed since advertising kicked it... It's brought out a hugely shallow aspect in humans and obviously it's a way to control people, make them feel less than others so you buy the crap that "society" says you must have to be a "valid" human being...
You seem like a lovely open minded person who loves life and isn't hugely restrictive or uptight about what you consume... Personally I find that attractive.
Anyone who judges you because of your figure surely has mental uptightness that is always harder to fix than someone's diet... I know I'd rather be chubby than judgemental.
I'm currently chubby, I love flesh on bones during sex... It's a bit of a bitch re wearing my lovely clothes but I'm working on my health atm so it won't last for long as I'll soon get back into them.
I've had sex with skinny mini's, fun size peeps, tall and skinny's and obese peeps... when you're within inches of someone and they're penetrating you or you them, all that matters to me is that it feels great and it always does... I'm having the same issue. Combination of Fibro/M.E. and problems with my hip and spine mean I can't go on top for very long and even when I do it needs to be a slimmer guy with his legs tight together. Trouble is, a lot of the men I fancy have larger muscular thighs etc!
Back to the original OP post, I also have a large belly as well as large bum and thighs etc. Despite being told over the years how much men find my figure attractive I've really struggled to believe it. Covered up my stomach at every opportunity and generally recoiled should anybody touch it. More recently though, I've been seeing a super hot guy who is way out of my league and he actively loves my belly. If anything he loves stroking and touching it more than anything else! I'm not left with the usual feeling of 'they only want me because they can't get anyone else because in the case of this guy, I reckon he could have almost anyone he wanted and he still wants me! I think confidence (not arrogance) is a key attractive quality and so if possible, perhaps just fake a little confidence and put thoughts of your belly to the back of your mind (I know this is difficult). I look at my belly and think, I need to spend a few evenings in the gym! Then I come on here and see people of all shapes and sizes enjoying themselves.
Some will focus on physical make up for potential meets others won't. Don't become too paranoid about weight or you become the paranoid bloke as well. Look at the site and some of the beautiful larger people on here. Personality carries a long way. Focus on those that will embrace you as you are. You have a partner who doesn't mind the belly so you all good any way. |

I am sorry, but that's just not true. As you say meet rates for men are stupendously low. This is because there are far more men than women on here. Hence women get their pick and most women would prefer a man who is not significantly overweight. That doesn't mean you have to be gym fit but most women will not have sex with an obese man, no matter how winning his personality.
I am all for not shaming people about their body, but not at the cost of propagating untruths. . If the OP is happy with his size and accepts that will limit his sexual options, great. If not, it is better if he is told the truth and he can then do something about it. |

I suppose it all depends how you define big belly.
It's a bugbear of mine on this site when people post that how you look doesn't matter and it's all about personality etc etc. That's patently not true. It's a casual sex site and by and large if you are not judged physically attractive you won't get sex. . Obviously what is judged to be attractive differs from person to person, but most people go by conventional standards. If that were not the case they wouldn't be conventions!

I mean, why even sit here and pretend this is not the case? There are number of reasons why people are not particularly keen on large stomachs...none of it is to do with people being "shallow". I met with a woman yesterday who was larger...the sex was very difficult and the sheer effort of having to penetrate made me lose my erection.
There are some very practical reasons why people shy away from dating larger people and many come from those who dont even discriminate against larger people sexually.
This is a sex site, its populated mostly by men. Many of those men are in good shape, tall, have big cocks, good looks and still struggle to get meets. I think it's much the same here - and personally looks really don't matter to me. It's whether I click with someone when I'm chatting to them. There are always going to be exceptions - the Elephant Man, perhaps, but my long list of ex's are hardly a conventional beauty parade. |

People list their physical attributes because thus is a casual sex site, not a long term relationship site.
You may be different, but I think that for most people, basic sexual attraction goes in two stages
1. Looking at him do I find him physically attractive?
2. Talking to him, do I find his personality attractive?
If you don't pass stage one, you won't even get to stage two. I am sure we all know people who we like a lot, but would have sex with them. - purely because there is no physical attraction.
