https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
Someone reminded me who I really am by asking me to take this test.
I felt like I'd been spied on somehow when I read the 8 odd pages of information all about me. I know two others who've taken it and said they feel exactly the same.
I hope it helps all of you with any problems you may be having, because it's woken me up and is busy slapping me round the face still.
If you take the test, read the full analysis and feel comfortable sharing.. by all means feel free to share and discuss.
I am a Campaigner.. which means im built for swinging |

Virtuoso Personality (ISTP, -A/-T)
I wanted to live the life, a different life. I didn’t want to go to the same place every day and see the same people and do the same job. I wanted interesting challenges.
Harrison Ford
Virtuosos love to explore with their hands and their eyes, touching and examining the world around them with cool rationalism and spirited curiosity. People with this personality type are natural Makers, moving from project to project, building the useful and the superfluous for the fun of it, and learning from their environment as they go. Often mechanics and engineers, Virtuosos find no greater joy than in getting their hands dirty pulling things apart and putting them back together, just a little bit better than they were before.
Virtuoso (ISTP) personality
Virtuosos explore ideas through creating, troubleshooting, trial and error and first-hand experience. They enjoy having other people take an interest in their projects and sometimes don’t even mind them getting into their space. Of course, that’s on the condition that those people don’t interfere with Virtuosos’ principles and freedom, and they’ll need to be open to Virtuosos returning the interest in kind.
Virtuosos enjoy lending a hand and sharing their experience, especially with the people they care about, and it’s a shame they’re so uncommon, making up only about five percent of the population. Virtuoso women are especially rare, and the typical gender roles that society tends to expect can be a poor fit – they’ll often be seen as tomboys from a young age. |

Well, I got DEBATER PERSONALITY (ENTP, -A/-T). In some areas it was scarily spot on. But in others, it was incredibly wrong so I am thinking I'll take it again. |

Apparently I'm a protagonist...
"Protagonists are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. Forming around two percent of the population, they are oftentimes our politicians, our coaches and our teachers, reaching out and inspiring others to achieve and to do good in the world. With a natural confidence that begets influence, Protagonists take a great deal of pride and joy in guiding others to work together to improve themselves and their community."
So very very true

"Interesting....... I also got campaigner

Which means you might need an Advocate to look after all the volatile love you've got coursing through you. |

Glad a few of you are taking it on board..
I think I fluctuate between elements of Campaigner and Advocate dependant on my internal and external influences. But I am also a scatterbrained, loving fuckwit at times.. very un-advocate-esque |

Apparently, I'm a mediator...!!!
Well, I'd never have said that - it doesn't sound like me at all - but if anyone would like to discuss it then let's see if we can reach an amicable balance...

But based on responses! at this point! based on those who have posted, you now make up 12.5% on this thread, so not a tiny percentage.
Which now makes me think the test is flawed and not to be trusted.
Maybe that's the logician in me..... |

Mediator for me.. Mediator Personality (INFP, -A/-T)
Mediator personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, Mediators have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the Mediator personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.so true x Storm x |

Do I get a reward for this?
No need, as a Campaigner.. All my new friends happiness is the only reward I need.
If you feel it's helped, drop me a line.. it's nice to know you're appreciated |

"Logisitian
Great for Fab.. The human lie detector. "
Well that's me totally unconvinced now, as it says Logician (unless logistitian is an entirely different personality, and not just an incorrect spelling), is 3% of the population and that % has just been blown out the water here.
Unless logicians are drawn to swinging? |

Ooh I'm not sure.. but I believe some personalities may indeed be drawn to Swinging - like campaigners and any other Thrill seeking, adventurous type people.
I've only read up on Campaigner, Architect and Advocate - because they are the most relevant to me. If your find your personality does match eerily close to the description. Then you may want to go and find out who compliments yours best, obviously there will also be those you clash or jar against.
I like to take people as I find them and discover most of this stuff out together, naturally (my type trait again). So I've not bothered looking at who my polar opposites are. I'm quite good at spotting people I don't like before I've even spoken to them (again a common trait in Campaigners). And I naturally avoid contact to protect my mood and emotions.
All this won't make you compatible with every complimentary personality. People shift and change and have good or bad days, they can be superficial or not, based on what they've been taught by society and experience. Or at the far spectrum of their personality types, merging into another type entirely (I'm almost as Advocate as I am Campaigner, but I will always have to work hard to get the drive to achieve my goals. Whereas an Advocate has that inbuilt drive within them. They still have to work hard to achieve the goal.
So if you're convinced this approach will now help you in life. Making the right new friends, choosing the right sexual partners or lovers. Test it out tentatively first. An Advocate may make a great friend or love interest for me, we may gel or spark very naturally and quickly in conversation.
But it sure as shit doesn't mean she's going to take it up the bum, or be an animal in the bedroom.
It's a guide.

"I've done this, Myers Briggs, Insights and other similar tests before.
I am a Logistician "
This one I posted has a much deeper one to truly explore who you are. I don't know too much about Myers Briggs tests.. But I've a feeling my friend is going to share that next, as it's her bag I think this was the warm up.
This is when I find out although I'm a lover.. I'll probably have PTSD or Borderline Personality Disorders I don't want to dig too deep, because I'm very happy at the moment and don't feel I need to.
But those tests may be good for those of you who are suffering for whatever reasons. Those of you who are being treated for any mental health issues will know all about these tests as they are tools for the fascilitators, counsellors and psychologists to better understand you, your reactions and How they can best help you. So there's got to be something in this.. Always exceptions to the rules though. |

"Adventurer and I don't identify with much written. The words creative and artistic kept cropping up and that's not me at all!"
Yeah.. I'm losing faith in mine as well.. some parts ring true. The attracting personalities is now proving tripe as well.
Like I said earlier.. a guide, not an instruction manual. |

DEFENDER PERSONALITY (ISFJ, -A/-T)
Love only grows by sharing. You can only have more for yourself by giving it away to others.
The Defender personality type is quite unique, as many of their qualities defy the definition of their individual traits. Though sensitive, Defenders have excellent analytical abilities; though reserved, they have well-developed people skills and robust social relationships; and though they are generally a conservative type, Defenders are often receptive to change and new ideas. As with so many things, people with the Defender personality type are more than the sum of their parts, and it is the way they use these strengths that defines who they are.
Defenders are true altruists, meeting kindness with kindness-in-excess and engaging the work and people they believe in with enthusiasm and generosity. |

"PROTAGONIST (ENFJ-T)
well there ya go "
ENFJ Personality (“The Protagonist”) Everything you do right now ripples outward and affects everyone. Your posture can shine your heart or transmit anxiety. Your breath can radiate love or muddy the room in depression. ... ENFJs are natural-born leaders, full of passion and charisma. |

I got Logician ... the description of the traits associated with that type seemed very accurate, particularly as it was very thorough. So many so-called personality tests just throw out a handful of wishy washy generalisms which might apply to most people. |
