I'm thinking of putting up a status saying we are looking to cull our friends list and if anyone wants to remain then make themselves known, that way people who haven't contacted us for a while will either show interest or self select to be deleted. Is this a good idea, I'm not sure whether it comes across as arrogant or rude, which is definitely not the intention. |

It may not get a good response as only members who actually look at updates during that time will reply or not. It doesn't come across as rude or arrogant though xxx |

It's your profile, do as you please.. it's nice that you're considering how they may feel if you do remove them though. And that you're concerned it looks arrogant. You're just keeping it fresh and relevant.. no need for your entire catalogue to be on display.. people just need to know you are for real. |

I delete people off my friends list fairly frequently as i only want people in it that iv met or am likely to meet.
If i have contact with a guy we might meet or have met then i have them on my friends list. I chat (via messeges) to them. If a meet never happens, or they dont seem to want to actually agree a date to meet, or its always me who contacts them first, then i delete them. Some notice and some dont. Im not bothered about offending them as its just a swingers site. |

" communication is a two way thing so if your not contacting the other party ask yourself why and then decide if your going to remain friends or delete them.
Its YOUR profile so YOU decide not them |

It's a list of contacts on the internet. They are not actually friends, UNLESS they are real friends in which case don't delete them, that would be wrong.
