Best Way(s) To Avoid Messaging The Same People Over Time ???

I actually haven't sent a single message on here yet (kinda dreading it). But what's the best way/system (if any) to go about ensuring that you know who you've messaged so as not to waste your and their time again?

You could use the private notes feature on their profile, that's what we do

either block them or leave a note to yourself on private notes such as "messaged no reply obviously not interested"

I block them, that way I'm reminded as soon as I click on their profile.

also on their profile it will show that you've messaged them and they didn't reply. this might only be for upgraded members though.

Private notes or keep your site support up as it says if you messaged someone before

It shows on their profile left hand side if you have messaged them before and how long ago.

They'll still show up in the search.

Hardest is those who come off the site and re register. It doesnt pick them up but then again we've found we forget to note or block if they dont like you they will block. That said we've not clicked initially then have second time around things change so just message and see.

If you become a site supporter it tells you if you have emailed that person before. Even if it was years ago.

Also you could just create an Excel spreadsheet or Word document and keep a list of who you have contacted.

They may post in the forums and you click on their username. They may be in chat and you clik on their username.
