So after a little advice, went out last week on a works drinks night. I knew before going out that this attached lady was interested in me, and to be fair i would happily take her to bed, however she is attached.
Since that night some very heavy flirting both in work and via text has been happening.
Do I take action and go through with some of the things discussed or should i leave the situation and calm it all down? |

Depends how much you love/need your job.
It's fun whilst you're both happy but if things go wrong then....not good.
I used to work in a large office. Two colleagues got together, dated. It ended, she made his life in work hell, he finally snapped and called her out on something in a spectacularly public spat. He got sacked.
She actually sat there smirking as he was escorted off the premises. She left the job two months after that because everyone didn't take her seriously after witnessing what they did.

Personally, I'd keep things at that level. Stick to flirting and become very good friends. Nothing wrong with that at all.
Mixing relationships and work always seem like a fantastic idea when you're on that special high, but when things go wrong it can be a complete nightmare, more so if you have to work together and/or with people who take sides and aren't grown up enough to handle about the situation.
