We just ring with the block outgoing number on M's mobile so there's no way of them getting her number.
If they aren't happy with that or face chat on Kik then most likely a fake.

If they have been on a while and have no veries... fake.
If the picture you put through Tineye come back as having multiple hits form porn sites... fake.
If its only ever the guy online, and when questioned the female is "at her mums/at work/visiting sick relatives/in the kitchen/painting the humber bridge/piloting the space shuttle"...fake.
If they dodge requests for both to be on cam/phone together...fake.
If the messages tend to go rapidly to "so.. what would you like to do to/with us?"... fake.

A phone call with the female half of a couple soon s out the men posing as a couple.
Google reverse image search or tinyeye will help you spot pics downloaded from the internet.
I would also just trust your gut instinct. If something doesn't feel right stop contact and move on to someone else. You do get a feel for people after you have been on here a while and you can spot problems much earlier and easier. |

I must disagree I am male half of a couple and do most of the secretarial (lol) work filtering out who I know 100% the Mrs will say no to. I then save messages from decent people for her to view later or to give me permission to continue chats too See if we are looking for same thing.
I think the old adage of if it looks fake then it probably will be, if not evident straight away it should be after a few messages. |

Actually that's pretty pointless in proving that you're genuine. All that feature does, is allow users to send people a photo not already uploaded to Fab. It still doesn't mean it's not fake.
You could always ask them to write your name on some paper and then take a photo, but how many people would stand for that rigmarole?

The best way to spot fakes is to get to know them online before meeting.
Getting to know people online first you can out the shag now? people, I want another notch on my bedpost people, idiots, fakes, fantasists and also hopefully the timewaters.
Getting to know poeple online first means you can get to know each other with no pressure. As I have said you can out the ones looking for a quick fuck or another notch on their bedpost. Also if you do decide to meet as you have spent time getting to know each other online you will avoid the awkward silences.
Another way to spot the fakes is ask them to go on web cam. Then ask them to do something like wave there little finger at you or blow a kiss at you. That wil prove it is a live web cam and not a recorded video. Nowadays most people have a webcam. Especially if using a laptop. Webcams have been a standard thing in laptops for over 10 years.
If you do decide to meet someobdy after getting to know them online make the first meet in a very puiblic place like a pub, coffee shop, cafe, Hotel bar, tc.
If you move onto meeting somebody at thier house/flat always tell a friend where you are going and tell her or him you will text them on the way home. When you get to the house/flat take a photo of it and send it to a friend. The photo contains information of the location where the photo was took.
The easiest way to avoid fakes is meet people who have meet other people. Meet people who have a few verifications. If the person has only met one person they could be fake. They may have found a way to verify themselves.
If your gut feeling tells you something is not right go with your gut feeling.

We are reasonably new to online swinging. We have also been caught out by fakes a couple of times, thankfully never meeting but a bit of time wasted.
We didn't know about that tin eye thing though, what is it? |

We dont give out our phone numbers until we've actually met and are happy to give them out, no phone chat / chatting to the female half doesnt mean they are not a genuine couple x |

Direct photos dont work. If Its in your photo album you can use it... it should say camera beneath if it were taken through the camera. But accounts get verified wrongly from time to time so i would say ask them to jot something down on a pice of paper similar to how you get verified initially then you can't really go wrong. It's the fake people you need to watch out for more than the profiles lol. People behave so differently in person. |

Us either, we both hate talking on the phone for a start. I'm always wary of people in a rush to move the chat off-site.
We do use Kik for simplicity once we've got a bit of a feel for people though if we think we're likely to want to meet them, and think used with caution the fact it differentiates gallery pics from ones just taken is useful.
Any pics that look too good to be true I reverse image search. I look at veris - interesting how many are from a profile started at the same time with only one veri from the first profile with virtually no text or suspiciously similar. Could be legit but makes me cautious.
If they start asking for more pics (other than a face pic) I don't take that as a good sign when we have plenty on the profile. |

Not sure if you have both experienced this too but if it's a single woman and she's new but has a lot of veri's would you check to see if any of those were from other women? As I know guys are a little easier to just leave one and say she's the best thing since sliced bread. Women leaving other women verifications are always a good sign for me as even in vanilla life women like to have someone to shop with and in particular seek advice from etc. A lot of women on here have some kind of friend in another female so female to female veri's are always a good sign for me. |

Genuine question. Why not? If you are looking to have sex with someone what is the objection to speaking to them on the phone? We are not talking a long intimate conversation. Just a minute or so so that both sides can be satisfied there are actual real life women involved. Given the number of fakes around that seems entirely reasonable. |

Some pics are fake so if fake I guess the person is also .I do pic reverse so it tells you how many sites it's on if it's fake .if it's there pic should be none found .Been a few lately on profiles .I'm also suspicious if person been on a while and hasn't been verified . |

Google "Tin Eye Reverse Image Search". I can't post the link on here, I got a spell on the naughty step last time I did that! 
Then right click on the picture concerned, then click "copy" where it says "copy image address", paste it into TinEye. If it's a pic from the net, a number of sites will pop up. I usually copy the link to admin and report them as a fake - they're usually blocked in minutes.

I've found no real need to speak on the phone, especially after 3/4 messages (never get off it!). Women dont generally pretend to be men so I'll get a genuine man. Plus a lot (not all) of men want phone sex and start wanking the minute you're on the phone, then you end up getting annoyed and not meet anyway or you try and talk normally, they get off, then you never hear from them again. Guys who want the real thing are what I'm after. Plus I don't have time or inclination to talk on the phone I do enough of that at work |

no pics of the woman on profile, but says couple. We had this happen to us once! He kept saying takes too long to add pics lol.takes minutes haha! When asked to talk on phone to female which I like to do, kept making excuses like she's just gone to work lol |

Hate to say it but very few couples on here are genuine most are single men or worse married/attached men sneaking around!
I've been accused of being fake in the past and as soon as work/family life allow me some free time I've cammed or spoke on phone, if someone can't cam or phone call within a week or so of chatting then I'd say they weren't genuine  |

I disagree, just because someone has been a member for a while, certainly doesn't make them fake!
I've been a member on and off since 2005 as part of a (very verified) couple and as a minion, to ostracize on that basis alone is very sad in my humble opinion....but hey, each to their own way n all!
Personally I think fakes make themselves apparent very quickly....a specific face pic works a treat |
