"why can't people who gets post return post .. I always return a message even if it's a no thank you ... " have you seen the FAQ section, it clearly states no reply, no interest
No one is obliged to reply to anyone on here it's not considered rude OP |

I'm more than happy to say "thanks but no thanks" but some guys don't respond well to this. I've currently got one guy who I must have said 40+ times "no" but he's going on and on and on! It's like a game of chicken now! |

Not interested.
Have way too many messages to reply to all.
Profile was non existant/no info, pics etc.
People can be abusive when given a polite no thanks.
Spirals into the Spanish inquisition as to why you're not interested.
Breaks any subsequent filters the user may want to apply in the future.
They try again a few weeks later forgetting they've messaged you before and you politely said no.
Probably lots more to add to the list but hope this helps. An inbox full of no thanks messages doesn't really appeal does it? |

What if you got 50 plus messages a day like some women, would you reply to all of those? Then you get more because you're online, then of those you replied no thanks to then reply further wanting to know why etc etc. Delete all your sent mail as soon as you've sent it then you won't know what the recipient has done with it, you'll either get a reply or you won't. |

As above.
Until recently i replied to pretty much all messages but so many people dont read my profile before messaging or repeatedly send messages of the same nature despite me having declined previously. I have actually had to start blocking people which i didnt want to do.
However if i get a polite and courteous message then i would reply OP. |

We reply to 99% of messages even if if it is a thanks for the message but you're not for us,and receive many thanks for the reply, manners cost nothing. |

All of this. You don't reply and it's complained about in the forums, or you do reply politely saying no and you get abuse or the third degree. Can't win! |

"Can't answer everyone as far too many messages, especially from idiots who don't bother to read profiles and can't even form a decent sentence."
And let's be honest, there are LOTS of them on here don't you think?
We get loads of them! |

I prefer good manners, but I also prefer doing all the other things that my life comprises of! I'm sure your parents would understand. |

Even if you're a decent person on here (male) the chances are you'll get ignored/deleted purely because their are so many single guys one here..
It's hard not to get annoyed but it's a fact.. we're considered 'disposable' on here and the forums won't give single guys any sympathy |

We'd happily reply to everyone, but the moment your finger is poised to send a polite no-thankyou message, it really is a 50/50 chance you're going to get abuse back. Either we take the abuse from the idiot 50% for the sake of the nice 50%, or we leave it as "no reply means no thank you". We go for the latter, as the abuse becomes tiresome; so much so that we had to take a few months away. Shame, as there are some lovely people. If only everyone could just be nice to each other. |

"OP do a forum search for this topic, it's been whined about loads of times before fed up with seeing it to be honest, why don't people just read the FAQ section?!"
Fab could set the forum up in a way that the first time you look at the forum you have to read the faq.
They could could also create a saub section of the forum called frequently asked questions. Anytime a new questions keeps on getting repeated it gets added to the FAQ forum. |

Because they're not interested in you. What mostly puts people off are profiles with no effort. We gave you profile advice 3 weeks ago to help your chances on here. Though it's your prerogative to take it on board or not, I see nothing has changed...

Because when I send no thanks for whatever reason, the person messaging very often argues with me. Saying they will come to me, ect. They can't take no for an answer x |

We consider ourselves polite and will generally reply but at the same time won't if the messager is not in our categories or it's a crap message e.g. 'How's yous', 'your missus looks well fit can I / me and my mates come round and bang her'.
If people cant be arsed to read a profile, or send a decent message, we cant be arsed to reply. |

We consider ourselves polite but.....
A lot of the time a reply 'even to say No thanks' seems to be interpreted as yes reply a million more times to ask stupid questions.
No win situation! |

Here here mate the amount of messages i sent out and never here back from is well.
Unbelievable is a gentle word on here to how i really feel.
People say you have to stand out and be different.
So you be different and stand out and then you get told a simple hello would of done.
How a guy to know what the other person likes in one message.
Give us a break.

As above, I get inundated with messages from guys who have clearly not read my profile, instant delete. I'm not going into the how's an whys of why I'm not interested, wastes my time. Messages that are crude or in no way polite, instant delete. Many woman in here will receive a lot of messages, an don't want to be typing "no thanks" 30 times a day, we girls have better things to be doing ?? |

We will always reply to messages from people who have read our profile in full to make sure that we have mutual interests and that we want contact from their group type.
Otherwise we treat that person the same way they have treated us.
Not reading and respecting profiles is quite simply rude, but an awful lot of that seems to go on here from both single guys AND couples.
A simple message saying hi is fine, but when people are contacting us looking for something that we clearly say is not on offer, then that shows a lack of respect being honest.
What we would say to anyone who says they don't get replies, it can well be something to do with the above. |

We try and return most messages but real life etc gets in the way and a lack of time. We get lots of messages due to what were looking for but you simply can't answer loads of messages when you have work kids shopping or are just plainly tired. And you can for us only be interested in one person at a time. Trying to explain yourself again and again does get tiresome even if it's a nice message profile that's contacted you. So for us a no reply does not mean were not interested it just means not just now. |

There have been a few occasions where I honestly can't remember whether or not I've tried to contact a particular person before, so I rely on the warning message that tells me that I've messaged her and got no reply. When I see that, I never try again, so it saves wasting time. I suppose a "no thanks" reply would stop that from working (though I've never actually received one).
I'm more annoyed by the ones who don't read or delete my messages. If she's still logging on regularly, yet my lovingly-crafted personalised message is just sitting there unread for weeks... AARGH!
