I've not been to any parties yet so I can only go by my experience at clubs.
Anyone who just walks up to someone and asks straight out if they want to play never gets lucky. Introduce yourself first and make small talk. See how things go, they might invite you to play or you can ask them if you all seem to be getting on well.

Too late now but for future reference.
Approach people in a social area. Be engaging and friendly and take only a few minutes of their time. End the conversation with something like "I hope you have fun tonight and if you're looking for someone I'd very much be up for getting together". If they're interested your eyes will meet later for sure. |

My first time at a club in Leicester years ago and a guy came up to me and said "would you like to fuck my mrs" I obviously said yes, he said "go and ask her then".
So the straight forward approach does work 
But probably not the other way round |

Yes ?? agree.... but please please please guys... don't forget flirty!!!! It is so important and the skill is severely lacking in a lot of guys at clubs/parties.... I'm sorry but if you don't get into my mind and turn me on in my head first, there's no way you're getting in my knickers.... please make more effort to engage with the couple/person have fun, bit of banter, conversation and some hot flirting |
