Profile appearance in searches when visiting

Ok so am off to Newcastle in few weeks, I don't normally have a face pic on my profile as I prefer to send them in private, when am away and in a new area for the weekend will I still show in local searches where I live based on my postcode as obviously I don't care about having a face pic up while away but don't what to appear on searches at home with it on,

I normally just change my postcode to the area I am in. If you don't you will appear on the gps search in the area but that's all in my humble understanding |

Not if your change your postcode in your account settings. However, if it's your profile pic you are changing then everywhere there is a link to your page (old messages, forum posts, meets etc) people will see it. |

Didn't think of that I'll just upload new pics when am in the area for locals to see me, |

No locals will only see you in the gps search as being local to them. Your pics change will appear in the local updates based on your postcode. |

bw careful as locals where you live may have you hotlisted so new photos will show up in their feed "

If you have your location services you will come up on who's nearby, go into the privacy settings on fab and take off about search engines showing your profile etc to non registered users x |
