Full Nude Pic?

I keep getting asked by one couple to send them a fully nude photo of myself showing my face.

This is something that I have never done and even set that as one of my "no-no's" when I set out on my FAB adventure.

I have sent them nude photos without showing my face and portrait photos of me clothed. However, they are insisting that I should send them a photo of myself both naked showing my face.

I have heard that the infamous Ghanaian spammers use that sort of photo to compromise (desperate) individuals, but is it the accepted norm here on FAB?

If it is clearly set out as one of your No Nos then stick to your guns and decline.

accepted norm on fab is that if someone doesn't take no for an answer then they are pushy.

I absolutely wouldn't do this, and if they keep insisting on it despite knowing you're uncomfortable with it, what are they going to be like if you meet?

could be a good idea to just block them then? so they can't message you.

you can do this by going to their profile and choosing the 'block user' option or check/tick the box on their messages that block.

Sounds like they are being very choosy and looking for perfection, if they can't accept what you have sent already then the doubt is clearly there. Do only what you are comfortable with sister and be careful!

Nice to see it isn't the single males being forceful

Thanks. I have reported them and blocked them.

It was a very disconcerting situation. Everything going swimmingly well and the the pressure began. I was so torn as they seemed nice at first.

no worries, glad it's sorted now.

if anyone makes you feel uncomfortable it will be for a reason, and you're right to trust your gut.

you don't have to be 'nice' when it comes to your body and should expect to be respected also.

i'm sure you won't get many more people like that but block them if you do and don't feel bad about it at all.

good luck, i'm off to sleep.

Brighton - even Hove!

I'd say don't do it and find someone else.

I'd say to them "I've looked at the background in one of your photos and I don't like the colour combinations so have decided not to go ahead"

Not sure why you would report them, asking for a pic isn't normally a reportable offence. But I would have ignored them the 2nd time I had to say no about the pic with a block after that.

Each to there own. They obviously want to see your face connected to your body. But I agree with the other posts. If it's not something you normally do then don't do it. There's always the chat rooms x

It would be a definite NO from me, I'd tell them to do one if they can't see that doing so would/could put you at a great risk....plus it does seem a very unreasonable request, ask once maybe ok, get told no and ask again? I'd be suspicious to be honest

I'm firmly in the no camp...even if it was someone you met. It's too easy to grab images and misuse them.

Stick to your beliefs OP

We fell for the scam and it cost us dearly . Don't send any face pics they find you on Facebook and hold you to random. Very cunning scam .

We never send face pics.

If the potential meet requires one they can move on to someone else.

For persistent pushiness. The block button is a wonderful gadget. It's just fundimentaly wrong to pressurise anyone and just plain disrespectful.

I suspect they want it so they can prove your body pics are yours and not copied. But if you don't want to send them, then if they persist, block and move on.
