new to swinging. should i be anxious about a meet?
Jump to: Newest in thread
Morning fabbers! So I recieved my first verifications on thursday after my first time at Cupids. Had a great time and met some really friendly down to earth couples.
Earlier this morning I messaged a couple who's profile had only one pic of her from behind (face wasnt visible at all) and no verifications displayed, as they had added a meet today and I wanted to know a little more. The reply was "I want to see her with another cock". Thats when I felt a little less sure about meeting them, mainly due to the lack of pictures and veris.
I politely asked if they would mind meeting for a quick social first as I am new to swinging and havent met many couples before. I saw they had read my reply but never got back to me.
Is it normal for me to feel apprrehensive in that situation? would you feel unsure if you were in the same position? |

Be apprehensive about anyone who won't go along with any of your reasonable requests.
If you want a social and they refuse, even if they are a legit, great couple, would you be as comfortable going for it? If not, move on.
Apprehension or nerves are normal in most new situations, and you won't know about this couple til you've met (or tried to). But the same rule goes for men as for women, I think: go with your gut feeling at all times and if anything seems off at ANY point, back away as slowly or quickly as you need to.

Spot on.
If it feels wrong, don't do it. |

Some couples are actually just a single male using the lady's picture without her knowledge and consent.
Often they will go quiet when asked for a social, telephone chat with both of them, cam chat etc.
Some do trot out various excuses as to why the lady can't chat.
I'm not saying this was definitely a single man pretending to be a lady - some couples just don't like socials. It does sound a bit iffy though.

Thanks for all your advice everyone. Very helpful. Follow your heart instead of your cock as they say lol! Since I'm relatively new to the world of swinging, I think I'd be more comfortable with social meets first. I know 90% of swingers are all genuine and very friendly but as you've said, there are a select few that are either fake or not completely genuine. Thanks again everyone.
are there any more tips you can give for new swingers that would make it safe and more enjoyable? |

Nerves etc are understandable. Some people get the last minute jitters and pull out, not notifying the other party!! Major league let down!!!!!!!!!
Why do people do it!? |

Keep your head and wits about you. If something doesn't feel right it normally isn't.
If you enjoyed Cupids keep going as this way you will meet some great people. Don't forget the social side too. Have fun |

If you can get to any of the organised socials they are a great way of meeting genuine people, the fakes and messers don't go!
It will help you to get known with local swingers and build a network. You can ask them to verify you too. |

Exactly this, and I would also add....don't feel pressured to do anything you feel uncomfortable with.
It's all about having fun, and your enjoyment is as important as the other party's. |

I Totally agree. I always put their feelings and interests before my own. At the end of the day, It's all about both parties having fun and feeling comfortable. If either person is not 100% happy for whatever reason then it makes the experience less enjoyable and most importantly, less safe! |
