In terms of a young, single man 7 weeks is nothing.

You can't change your age which will probably count against you. You can change your profile a bit. For me it's full of negatives. It's good that you know what you don't want but better if you express that in a positive way.

Good luck

The fact that your profile pics seem to be of three different people is some concern. Ripped on the first two pics and somewhat fuller on the last. Plus the moles on the belly in the pictures don't appear to match. This would put us off.

Easy geez,

I don't always do this.. but as you're from Gloucester and not too far away.. I'll give you some tips.

It's a lot about your first message.. by that I mean the message header.. and your first sentence.. that's all people see before they decide to DELETE or READ.

A totally random funny word can help you here.. or straight to the point or a compliment in first sentence.

Decide what you want for now and focus on that. Bare in mind we're all different, so make sure you read their bio and text, make sure you're a close fit.

Don't bother wasting your own time on a wall of text to begin with.. most people delete you're first message anyway. Save the important stuff for the ones who bother replying.

Ask questions about what they want , show an interest in them.. you're one of a billion blokes on here, most of whom have fucked things up for the rest of us.

I'm not gay or bi so I'm not interested.. but I can tell you've got a better body than me. And your photos aren't too bad. If recommend getting rid or keeping your body hair very short though.. especially round the important parts.

Never send a cock pic till asked.. just face and body shots.. if even go as far as to say keep your cock off your profile altogether. I keep mine on my profile as it's one of my better features.. which doesn't say much for the rest of me lol.. but if you have a six pack.. sell your best bits. If you can get away without showing the one eyed beast.. do so.. women like the flirt and surprise.. but a lot won't even consider you unless they've got an idea.. you can hint at your size and girth without showing the whole thing.

It's all about getting noticed. Use the forum, have fun, make jokes, use your status, swap your pictures about so you pop up on the walls of people looking for single guys.

I hope all that helps.. if it does.. remember my name if you ever end up in a couple with a beautiful women who likes two guys at once

Good luck mate. Don't let people get you down either.. we all have a shit one on here at times.. don't treat others like crap and don't stand for crap from them.. you may be a measly single guy.. but you're human and have a right to be treated like one.

Some of what Thrillseekingmissile says is spot on, but some of it I disagree with.

I know from other replies on the forum many will look at the profile before reading the message and if the profile isn't up to scratch it will be a delete. Therefore it is probably more important than the message. Don't skimp on effort on it.

I reply to any message that shows some effort but if your profile doesn't tell me much it will probably be a very brief reply, too often I've found if the profile is scant chat will be like getting blood out of a stone.

It is good to ask questions, helps start a conversation but make sure the answer isn't in the profile. Nothing makes it more blatant that you haven't read it than asking something that's clear if you take the time to look.

I'd skip the 'I'm an alpha male' stuff. It tends to be said be people who aren't really.

Out of curiosity.. what did I get wrong.. I'm only working off trial and error myself so any advice is taken on board.

Really the idea that the header and first line of the message are most important, and that there's no point creating decent profile text. So many people will get a message and look straight at the profile, I know I barely notice the Subject line. The profile is very important to a lot of people.

Your name will just make some laugh....especially at 21... you haven't learned what alpha is yet....and more a cub than a wolf?

A name change may help.

But mainly...you work nights...so when would you meet?

You train every day....do you ever sleep?

You don't seem to have time to do much on here.

Ahh I never said profile text wasn't important.. I said your first message didn't have to be much.. just need to catch someone's attention enough to get a response.. then you know your next message.. the one that takes a lot of effort on our part.. will at least get read without being deleted.. is what i meant at least.

Thanks.. I remember what it was like before.. a few simple tips goes a long way and doesn't cost me anything. Nobody gives you the advice you really need, other single men waiting in the soles to trash the competition trying to make themselves stand out by climbing on the backs of newbies posts.

A nicer, friendlier fab is a better fab for all of us.

Ah, sorry, misunderstood. When got said about a wall of text thought you were referring to the profile rather than the message. Agree, the first message doesn't need to be long, ideally something to show you've read the profile and have reason to think you might be a match to start off.

The whole "alpha male" thing puts me off if I'm honest. I want a nice respectful man not someone overbearing which is what I imagine when I hear those words.

Ok my bad.. probably getting carried away being a know it all

Yes I meant the message. Something in the header to catch the eye.

Oooh I forgot.. never start with hello, hi, my name is.. not on the first line lol..

I usually make the header and first line a complete sentence so it doesn't make complete sense.. so you open it up to see what I'm on about.

Follow up with a compliment or two.. refer to their profile or status.. then end by saying something along the lines of.. no need to reply if you're not interested, we're all different.. and wish them luck.

9/10 My message has at least been read. 1/2 the time i get a reply. 1/2 of those replies turn into something a bit more intimate over time.

Not a great success rate.. but I'm picky and I'm a short arse with a no pack.. got nice arms and a sense of humour though lol
