Hi
Wondering what most of you all expect as far as scents when meeting a man. I often see that men are expected to smell nice, but is that an expectation of cologne or just a simple declaration of "please wash your bits"?
Personally, I don't really like cologne but am thorough in the shower before meets and smell clean and fresh.
Thoughts?

Then don't use it.
Personally a nice clean soap and deodorant smell is better than the bathed in aftershave pong. |

I think clean is a minimum expectation.
I wouldn't want a man to wear cologne or aftershave if he didn't want or like to. I do however like to smell a good cologne as I lean in to greet a guy. Mr N always wears it . |

Soap and deodorant on a man is my personal choice. |

I like my men to be squeaky clean, not just got wet in the shower but properly and thoroughly soaped and cleaned every tiny (or large) area! Also, super minty and fresh breath is a huge turn on. Then I absolutely love a fairly strong aftershave and if it's the right scent then it's literally half of the work done already to get into my knickers. However, there are so many aftershaves that have a certain scent in them that I absolutely hate but I still can't pinpoint what the ingredient is. So it can be a really expensive cologne but I still might hate it. I have very heightened sense of smell which accounts for why i'm so over the top about wanting a great smelling guy. The best thing you can do is dress and smell how you like because you'll never please everyone. |

Aftershave is going to be really subjective, I might love a particular scent but PPs might hate it, and some people find it too overpowering full stop. Just clean and fresh is possibly the safer bet. |

i bathe first ,long soak, cut toe and finger nails , cotton wool bud ears ,use my trimmer on any nasal hair , trim eyebrows, use a cream called nair on my chest, then shower...shave face standing up in the shower as by this time the stubbles nice and soft , wash and condition hair and soapprivates with simple soap , then a good showering off all over....
i use nivea deodrant then just a few tabs of aftershave here and there , Allure by chanel is my favourite followed by acqua de parma, i quite like one called vera wang too.
Then clean boxers and socks iron a nice shirt and jeans , or trousers from the dry cleaners , polish chelsea boots and im ready........... |

Ideally just naturally scented products. So a gentle natural fragranced soap all over is great.
Perfumes, aftershaves, deodorants, strong shower gels - no thanks. |

"I read an article about women finding men wearing good aftershave lots more attractive. I reckon its truth"
I've always been complimented on my smell. 1 million is my favourite to get the ladies going. |

I think everyone expects people to be freshly showered for a meet Smelling good is more about the choice of aftershave and yes it makes a big difference |

Actually agree with this. Haven't found an aftershave that smells as good as "just out of the shower." Though I do like my Hollister stuff if anyone's buying

Ellen like the aftershave I wear and comments regularly, but don't tend to get any comments from anyone we meet at VA. Euphoria, Lacoste Red, Issey Miyake and Hugo Boss all seem to go down well. |

Shower fresh at a minimum. But a gorgeous perfume can sometimes be intoxicating |
