I think it means they can't accommodate and don't have a car and they have to use public transport.
Either that or they are tied up in the basement and can't leave the house! |

We put can't travel on our profile as we're not prepared to travel for hours for a meet as we'd rather spend the time on the meet plus there are lots of lovely local people to meet and I don't have to listen to mr complaining about the price of petrol!! Reasons for not accomodating tend to be because of family. Ms |

I dont accom - my choice as my home is my space and privacy. I dont drive due to medical reasons.
For me it means I will meet at Chams, a local hotel (split costs) or poss other couple/persons house if met socially before.
Just because I dont drive doesnt mean I cant travel but as I am reliant on public transport or taxis it just take a bit more planning and thought. But if I can navigate my way through India and Thailand on public transport then meets arent usually an issue if I want to make the effort |

I always block people who contact me with this view: their house is sacrosanct but they have no qualms playing in yours! |

"No it basically means, come and pick me up and then take us to yours or a hotel.
Fuck off would be our response."
Spoke to a couple like that,.. they can't accommodate because "its their home" but can't travel as they both work on call - they wanted me to travel 50 miles to them, then book the local (£99 a night, 5 mins away) hotel near them... and hope for the best they don't get called away. When I suggested they pay half the hotel as I'm paying to travel they accused me of being stingy. |

Someone posted they'd do anything for the right bit of puss. This couple will find some desperate sap willing to agree to their terms! |

Your choice, like not hosting is my choice and if couples or others want me to play at theirs its up to them.
I dont ask to go to theirs, infact I prefer Chams for all meets. My full sentance is below in case you missed it.

Pmsl hear hear "
not always! for me it meant i have kids at home and was unable to drive far at the time. Met happily in local clubs and in hotels where i would offer the bulk of the cost if the other person was travelling to meet me.
i guess i was lucky to find people who were prepared to ask circumstances rather than just make negative assumptions |

This one has always baffled me too.. maybe fab should modify the profile data.. so pepes can select: (a) Can accommodate, or (b) Looking for you to accommodate, or (c) Meet at hotels, or (d) Meet at parties, socials or clubs; the member can then tick any or all that apply so that other members get a better understanding of their position. Mobility could be dealt with separately, with another question, with responses such as: (a) Own transport will travel (with option to put 'within xx mile radius of my location') or (b) No transport or cannot or will not travel, or (c) Transport difficult at present, if travelling to you will only meet within xx miles of my location, or (d) Travelling difficult, will meet at public venue locally, with view to going back to yours (or somewhere private) after. So if somebody answered only (c) to my first question and (c) again to my second question, other members would understand that the only chance of meeting was a club or hotel within xx miles of where they live. As ever, email clarification would still be needed. At least fellow members would get a better understanding of somebody's preferences before wasting time emailing somebody who is not suitable because of the logistics involved. I'm sure someone could improve upon my idea and hopefully fab will give it some thought. |
