So.... I would really like to sunbathe in a bikini...mistress gifted me one last year but missed opportunities. Is this acceptable and if so where? Anyone any experience with this? I have no wish to offend anyone.

Anywhere you like goddam it. As long as it's appropriate for the venue. The car park at Tesco might not be the right place...just saying. But if you're at the beach then as long as all the relevant bits required by law to be covered who the hell cares? If Borat can don a mankini, you can wear a pretty bikini and to hell with it.

Interesting question. Is society (families, kids) ready to see as CD sunbathing? Personally, I would choose a place that excludes children.

I don't know anyone who would be offended as such but I do know people who would stare and possibly comment. I think it depends on how prepared you are for that.

As far as we're concerned you should wear what you please within the bounds of decency in public. We once saw a guy in Tunbridge Wells with a really nice skirt suit on who happened to have a beard. People were openly staring, pointing and laughing. The poor chap was doing no harm to anyone.

Yes that was my thoughts but beaches tend not to be exclusive...

Do what you want as long as it's legal and suits the setting.

Then find a spot, maybe slightly secluded and go ahead. Although if you're anything like us,as soon as we settle down on a secluded beach an entire family will come and sit right next to us

Are kids REALLY going to be shocked or offended? Will they even care? I think the people who care are the parents who might have to answer some questions they feel awkward about being asked, but stuff them! TV/S is a part of life and our society. People should just get over it already.

Interracial couples, gay couples, disabled couples all used to be shocking and unnerving, the public for over it and the world moved on.

If you can, be brave and wear what feels good. As long as your winkie isn't on display who cares.
