I'm interested in this too. We bought a Logitech C920 as it was pitched as being mac compatible but it just wouldn't connect at all.

Fingers crossed it works. Let us know if it's any good and if so, we'll invest in one.

All Mac come with a camera, the desktops, laptops and iPads, etc. So....if you have an older Mac, i suggest investing in a newer model with cam already installed.

My MacBook has a cam but I'm looking for one that's far better quality, hence the search for a mac-compatible one.

Logitech webcams are quite compatible with Mac laptops. I own a Logitech c270 HD webcam and that works with the Mac i use at work.

The built in cams on most lap tops are fine ... but surely not really suitable for 'playing online' as they are not 'pointable/flexible' so as to capture the parts you want NOT to show ?!

If anyone is interested, it's very easy to turn your phone into a webcam! Phones have such good cameras on them now. I use an app called droid cam. There's step by step instructions on setting it up.
