This is a strange topic i just wanted to ask advice on, but when does a friends become a stalker - and how do you deal with that?
For instance if you have asked them to txt first before calling and they don't, or if they send pix that you are not really interested in...
How do you subtley say 'feck aff - yer creeping me oot!' |

You sublty say feck off yer creeping me out!!
seriously though you have to say something,if they are a friend they should understand
If they ignore you and continue to call and send pics then block their number |

but what if the subtle approach doesn't work? For instance, what if you have said - look don't call unless you txt us first, we have lives - and they don't take the hint? what then? |

You have asked nicely so just block their number. So therefor the only way they can contact you is online. Unless they know where you live, then you could find them on your doorstep!! |

Well on most mobile phones you are able to block a person - check out the automatic reject list on the setup.

friendly, gen people don't tend to harass you we find. Being direct with them leaves no room for error also. We have unfortunately had experience of male stalkers on here & when they don't take your advice & keep up the antics then we just tend to turn the tables & do it to them TENFOLD
Soon sorts em out... |

Right took the bull by the horns and told them, that as our 'profile' didn't exactly match what they were looking for, perhaps we shouldn't meet again, as we would just be wasting each others time. They have threw their toys out the pram and turned round and said 'that is fine we didnae fancy you anyhows' - LOL! Ah well at least it is finally over! blocked and stopped them from chatting. Yes it was a couple that was stalking! I somehow don't think they were genuine, ceertainly weren't friendly, and didn't know how to take a subtle hint. Sledgehammer approach worked well though!
Thanks for all your help peeps! |

Trust me..thay aint stalkers
You will know when you have one i did its not pleasant at all.
I would suggest that you ignore people like that because they are after a reaction the more you give them the more they do it.
And whats goes around comes back around |

AS a bloke I would apreciate a little honesty.
Tell the chap (I assume it's a chap) that they are freaking you out and how you would like to be aproached.
If they don't take the hint then, try telling them to feck off. |

We have had the unfortunate luck to have a nutty stalker too... Part of a couple. Not nice.. Really not nice at all!
Only advice we can offer is do nothing to let them in your life.. Explain your feelin a bit weird with it and would like them to back off.. If they don't you have no worries about being more forceful as they really won't be worth the bad feelings eh...
Ourss.. Ended up with getting the police involved, honest to God... Now that is ugly... Funny too in a way but wasn't then.
Good Luck xx |
