Threats

So a guy I met once has bombarded me with messages at 3am this morning threatening to expose me and telling my husband (yeah you could say I deserve it)

He's clearly done his homework and tracked me down on Facebook.

Is there anything I can do?

Ring the police. Tell them he's threatening you and they will contact him. They aren't bothered what your situation is , their role is to protect the community. Boobs had a problem last year and rang them and the person hasn't been a problem since.

I would say block their number and if you know who they are on Facebook block them there. Also maybe ask you husband if you can borrow his phone and block him on that device too or change his settings

Same happened to me. He actually did find my husband on Facebook and sent him my pics. He messaged me again yesterday from yet another new account' to tell me how much he hates me.

My friend had this. Threatening to post cd of pics to her husbands business. Sitting on her street texting saying 'I'm gonna come knock'. Why are people such sore losers?

The police can warn him to back off, but it's difficult as some just don't care about the law.

Is there no way you could just deny any knowledge of him? Does he know of any secretive piercings or tattoos?

I'd simply deny, deny, deny. It's so stressful I know.

Sadly there are a lot of guys out there whose egos won't tolerate being turned down and who seem to think they're something special- it's usually the ones with the least to offer who are the biggest dicks (not in the physical sense) the same sort of guys who claim to be "Dom" without any understanding of the true meaning of the term.

Not sure how you filter them out - not sharing any personal info is crucial I guess!!

I'm lucky in that I don't think anyone would recognise me from my profile on here....I've met someone "before" and "after" and they were surprised at the difference!!
