Or to differentiate between swinging friends and everyday friends, or swinging parties and regular parties etc etc.

Never took it as being used in a derogatory comment. Vanilla sex is good sometimes as too much kinky shit too frequently can desensitise you to it, obvs prefer the kinky and filthy sex. I certainly will never turn back from swinging after so much fun.
I don't really use the terms and acronyms and just flat out say what I mean. |

I always used to say "if you don't know what vanilla means, then you definitely are".
But now it seems to have made its way into regular conversation, and I would say a good proportion of Muggles know what it means. |
