What do the members, think about meeting any other members maybe from their own town, or do you avoid your own town and like to travel to meet?

just wondering, what the thoughts are?

I don't mind meeting locally and I don't mind travelling fair distances either. All depends on the person/people I'm meeting

maybe they recognised you? lol

we have met people quite local to us as we dont think that you really any more likely to bump into them than someone who lives 30miles away.

Depends where your town is. Glasgow folks meeting Glasgow folks is one thing but if your town is, say, Auchterarder or Aberfeldy it might be a wee bit tooooooooo close to home.

wWell on another site we have discovered a cpl who live in the village half a mile down the road and it only has 8 houses, would not be hard to find out who they are lol. We have had social contact with a cpl who we met at a club and they are in they next town and he knows pauls dad, so would not bother us at all

We like to put a few miles between us and the people we meet. We do always offer to go to them rather than them travel to us. Only fair.

I work in the public eye, so would not be happy meeting locally. Mr F would! Don't want someone seeing me at work and wandering over for a chat!

Often meet locals...

They are doing the same so why not lol... Makes it better, short notice becomes reality with ease and when it works long term can say without doubts has benifits and so far.. no negatives!

Meeting someone from home town?? In my case.. London?? Whats that then? Anyone within the M25 motorway? Doesn't happen.

Only times I know it to happen has been at parties - and half of those outside London (ie, Darlaston).

we try to meet a couplew who is relatively local, either in our own town or nearby ,as we feel being local makes it less hassle to meet, as not a lot of mileage involved, and we like to meet more than once, in fact we think thsat although first meets are always fun and exciting, its nice to be able to meet from time to time with said couple and experiemnt more, trust more, and become friends too.

but, we do find that most people nearby dont really want to meet, or just ignore our message..most of the people we meet are from quite a distance.

Have only ever bumped into one person I have played with , was out on lunch and I knew it was her, she gave me a blank look and walked on! charming!!!!

That's the right thing to do. She could have no idea who you might be with - perhaps someone about to step out of a shop or draw up at the kerb. Better safe than sorry.

I had a bloke from work mail me ( he doesnt know its me), i nearly passed out with shock, especially as he is a short fat bloke who clearly gets dresed in the dark! It wouldnt bother me meeting someone from my town, save on petrol and giving directions

i started in this scene by going to a dogging site near me and to be honest, was just too lazy to travel any further on the off chance there might be some action! Have only met a few from my town, but do have my fuck buddy 5 minutes away!

I guess I don't mind shitting on my own doorstep!

On the other side of the coin, we have jumped into a jacuzzi in a club 60 miles away and found ourselves next to one of Katee's old student nurses. So playing away from your home town is no guarantee that you won't meet an aquaintance either.

Should also have added to that last post. I also found out a new guy in my department also swings, how? Cos I saw a pic of him and his wife on here! We are now friends and met up for drinks, who knows, we may even decide to have fun together in the future.

We meet local people but realise its not the done thing for some folk

But i think it depends on and individuals level of privacy and on a personal level we dont mind who knows or who finds out what we do

Thing is most people on here are on here for the same reason as everyone else and like the poster above you cant always know that you wont bump into people at clubs etc

xxx

i meet people locally as well as a short distance away

it doesn't bother me even if we bump into each other down shops etc as long as when we've met we set boundaries for such occasions.

plus it can be handy if you have an uncontrolable urge that needs satisfying rapidly lol

I have met a couple from about 10 mins away from me and they both had public jobs I even saw her in her work and I just carried on doing what I was doing and ignored her as this was her wish when we spoke about me having seen her in town.

However I would never meet anyone from my town cos its tooooooooo fecking small - population 10 men 5 women 7 kids and 4 dogs and I would never want to have the red face when Im up at the school collecting my kids.

Mainly cos not every one can keep a secret and there are people I wouldnt want to know we are on here

Never really got what the whole avoiding people one might have met thing is all about on a swinging site. For the sake of argument, you bump into a colleague. You haven't anything to be embarrassed about, after all, said colleague is here for the same reason you are. The way I see it from there you have three options: feel ashamed, even though you've nothing to be ashamed of, bonk 'em, or if you're worried that may make things awkward, just use your respective experiences as "water cooler" conversation. This may be naïve of me, but I think I would go for option 2 or 3, based solely on the other party's gender.

Yes I 'dress down for my job and no one at work (for either of us) knows what we do.

If you look at our verifications, we seem to be doing quite well thank you!

We have met quite a few people local and had no trouble at al. Even when we have met them at the shops. Our parties seem to be popular too.
