There's dental dams, basically a sheet of thin latex which you can get in different colours and flavours.
I tried them with an ex girlfriend, out of curiosity, but the sensation on my tongue was similar to the sensation you get after licking loads of envelopes.

Lordy lordy, in all my years of meets, parties and clubs, I have never actually seen a dental dam being used for oral on a lady, although I see plenty of mention of them on the forum.
Lack of dental dam use does not appear to have caused widespread health epidemics. |

Thankyou all for your input. Just trying to practice safe for everyone involved. I will check out those dental dams tho. Hubby can try it on me first haha and tell what it tastes like

in the past always used condoms. Been in this relationship past 10 years so it's never been an issue. Just playing safe |

I would say that you need to decide what you two want, not worry about what others might want. You want to meet people who play in a way that works for you.
Take things at your own pace. Maybe visit a club as "research" with no plans to follow anything other than socialise.

Just for information, what actually are the risks?
I imagine that the risk of transmission of anything from mouth to pussy is extremely low.
How about transmission to the lips or tongue? Again, low risk if your mouth has no open wounds?
I'm just guessing, does anyone know differently? |

In my view, if you read guidance on infections, would it necessarily be a fail safe anyway? I stand to be corrrected but I'm not 100% certain it would be. Where juices/bodily fluids  are flowing, bodies coming into contact and there are entry points or weak points, a damn might not be a total barrier anyway.. it would lower the risk though. That said it depends how big it is and how contained you keep things, I've never used one or had one use on me.. Ultimately you'll get a spread of views but you do what you feel comfortable with and what you'll enjoy. That's important or it will be procedural/mechanical and not at all pleasurable. As a sexual health worker with young people I can tell you that you can catch STI's from any form of sexual contact if bodily fluids are involved/swapped etc. Chlamydia, herpes & gonorrheo, syphilis & HPV can all be passed through oral sex, as can thrush. But these can also be passed by contact with hands etc if you then touch yourself.
Either dental dams or a condom split in two can be used for fem on fem oral, if you're concerned. I've never seen any fem on fem use of protection in my few years swinging. Each to their own though, if you want to use protection then you do so. I have a lot of gay & bi 'vanilla' female friends & they all use protection until a relationship is established.

I've never done oral sex with either men or women with any form of protection. I wouldn't even consider it. I would rather do without. It's protection for penetrative sex only, for me. |
