What difference does a face picture make

I am thinking of posting a face picture on my profile to show I am easy on the eye and a genuine decent chap. However with all the the lurkers and time wasters you get on here I am slightly reluctant to reveal my identity. Am I over thinking this? Does a face pic really make a difference? BTW I am not Batman / Bruce Wayne so my identity is not a massive secret, haha! |

can make some difference. i've been meeting a lot of guys without seeing their face lately, doesn't bother me as i'm more interested in the expereinces they're offering to share with me.
but one guy i wasn't gonna meet until i saw his face and he has the most amazing eyes and he is my priority fb now.  |

I don't have one because my work and that does not make me less genuine!
To be honest face is not an important factor for me! I don't require one either!

I'd never meet anyone without a face picture. I have to say I'd tend to message someone if the face pic is available. Although if you attach a face pic with a message at least then people can make an informed decision as to whether you are for them |

It makes a massive difference to me. I wouldn't meet anyone without seeing a face pic. If I get a message from someone who doesn't attach a face pic/have one on profile it's one of the first things I'll ask for  |

Us too. It may be shallow but we/ I needs to find somebody attractive if we are to meet them.
We will chat with anyone socially but we will only play with people we find easy on the eye ha ha.

Well, based on the majority of the feedback here I've added a face pic. I probably should have had a shave first, but it is my day off so I'm taking it easy! If you like my face pic let me know, if you don't like it then keep it to yourself as I only have one face so not a lot I can do about it! Haha |

you can not win whichever way you do it, some say yes to facial picture, some say want to see your cock!
for me, I have one I send out and more available for friends.
I do it because prior to joining this site, I was looking around on other sites and a lot of pictures from here are used by others.
Take xhamster, they have thousands of pictures from this site, then you look, they show them as dressed/undressed.rate this slut. etc
and guys, it is not just the women they target, have looked at several pictures on other sites and you will be pleased to know, they use the pictures here for teasers for guy sites.
so either way, showing a face, a cock, we can not win! |

I would never meet anyone without a face picture, but I totally appreciate the need for discretion. I don't think there is any need to have your face as your profile picture unless you want to, but face pictures should be exchanged when messaging. |

I should of said should be exchanged if planning to meet. If it's just chatting then there is no valid reason that you have to send s face picture. |

Agreed.
However, I do feel like if people put a meet up then a face pic in public would help, sometimes I have last minute availability and take a nose, but the majority have no pics let alone face ones.
Getting to know people before seeing a face pic isn't going to happen, for me anyway, there's far too many on here so face pics allow you to go off initial thoughts and then see how they are as a person. |

Completely understand that someone wouldn't want to have their face pic on public display, because then someone they know might see it and therefore find out their lifestyle. However, with regards timewasters, who cares if they see your face? It's just a face, we all have one! We do expect to see a face pic with first message. If the face is visible on the avatar, it has the added bonus that we might notice when browsing. For example during a time when we had stated on our profile that we weren't looking, we stumbled across a profile that had looked at us. I fancied him so much that we sent a wink. He had bypassed our profile because it said we weren't looking. I would not have noticed his profile had it been a picture of a part of his body. He became a regular playmate, and we may not have met had he not had face pic as an avatar. I should point out though that it's possible to anonymise face pics by covering or blurring the eyes. This is something we do in our public pics, so that there is an impression of what we look like but not truly recognisable.
