The old saying goes you can't say you don't like something until you've tried it. But that's not to say you might not grow to like something you didn't like the first time.
Can you say you don't like something without ever actually trying it?

Yes you can, I'm not interested in men I find them repulsive sexually. So I will never try it. |

Wow. "Sexually repulsive" is very strong.
But I can understand the logic behind it if that's how you feel.
Although.... when you have kids and they won't eat greens because "they're repulsive", sometimes you make them keep trying them and sometimes they grow to love them.
I used to hate sprouts for example...now I love them and I only know that because my parents would make me eat one now and again. |

I think that analogy is a bit different though. Maybe it is a bit strong but just how I feel I don't like men getting near my personal space in threesome's etc because it turns me off. |

no. That's because your tastes change as you get older and nothing to do with growing to love them. |

no,i can categorically say there are several things i do not need to try a few times to see if i grow to like them..one of the benefits of being a grown up for me is being able to decide for myself what i like or dont like and not being pressured into 'trying it again'. |

things like food then no. You can't say you don't like it until you try it because until you try it you don't know what it tastes like. You can get an idea that you might not like it from the look of it (textures are a big turn off for some food) and the smell of it, but you won't absolutely know until you try it.
If we're talking about sexual experiences though. ..I think you can know that there are certain things you won't like without trying them just because the thought of them is a complete turn off. So it depends. |

Well oddly, this is what made me raise this topic in the first place.
Kate mentioned some time ago that she wanted to play with my ass with a view to trying pegging at some point. I initially said "Not a bloody chance! That's one way only."
However Kate being Kate I eventually gave in and was very dubious about it the first few times.
Roll forward 12 months and I would go so far as to say I do actually really enjoy it now. Not something I'd ever thought I'd say and that then led to the next thing on her list...
So I just wondered if anyone else would give a similar scenario. |

While I agree that's true, there are definitely things that I would never contemplate trying. Things that just thinking about makes my stomach churn and I recoil in disgust. I don't mean just sexually either, I mean things in everyday life too |

I have to try most things at least twice before I decide whether I like them or not..
I don't think there is any hard and fast rule about how many times you try whatever it is though I guess some people take longer to make their minds up than others  |

i dont need to try a bi mmf to know i dont like it.I am not into scat nor do I want to be dommed by a woman.. so I know I wouldn't like any of those things without trying..
Same as I know a 121 with another woman wouldn't be for me. |
