Most people on Fab and anywhere for that matter say they only play safe, meaning the use of condoms is a must, yet they will happily suck cock/fanny without a condom. Apart from the risk of pregnancy, their main concern is the risk of std's... So can someone explain why it's okay to suck cock/fanny without a condom but not okay to fuck without a condom

I'd understood that oral is a lower risk unless there are gum, mouth or lip sores/cuts. And has anyone found a non intrusive pussy cover? Cling film..dental damms...

How is it lower? If a man has a std on his cock then I would expect the same risk of infecting a pussy would be the same as a mouth

The clinic have advised me that the risks for oral are considerably lower than for bare full sex...

And also that its pretty much zero chance of contracting hiv via oral.

So that is why for us.

No that's why we make it clear in our profile we won't. Other people can do what they like. We will only play 'our way'.

The NHS Choices website is fairly clear (on Oral sex).

You can catch an STI if you have just one sexual partner. However, the more partners you have, the greater the risk of catching an infection.

STIs that are commonly caught through oral sex are:

gonorrhoea

genital herpes

syphilis

Infections that are less frequently passed on through oral sex include:

chlamydia

HIV

hepatitis A, hepatitis B and hepatitis C

genital warts

pubic lice

Nope because that's what prostitutes do so that's why I am asking why it's okay for a woman to suck my cock with no condom but not okay to fuck the very same cock that invaded her mouth... do you wear a condom to suck cock? If no do you use condoms for sex?

STI's are very often discussed on Fab forums. Can't say I've ever seen a contribution from anyone who has been infected and I'm thinking that more fabbers get tested than in the big wide world at large.

No I don't use one to suck cock. I wear one for sex to ensure there's no fab babies.

Regular checks will ensure my mouth is clear

Have once used a condom to suck cock and it was dire.. never again.

Been doing this since I was 24... so we could say 3 or 4 a week since then.. sometimes more.. and while I get checked regularly. I Wont let the slight risk change how I play.

I have asked many times at the clinic and while there is a slight risk.. it is a much lesser risk.. and one we are happy to take. But as the risk is increased if you take cum in your mouth I have all but stopped doing so x

Hahaha thank you to everyone who helped but still I don't quite see the logic in it apart from the prevention of babies as the risk of herpes or crabs should be enough to stop people giving head without a condom but they still do. Yet many say they use condoms to avoid the risks of stds more than the fear of pregnancy

Best thing you can do is ask about the risk when you next visit the GUM clinic. They will be the most qualified to answer. I think the reason that many give blow jobs etc without using a condom but use them for penetrative sex is because the risk of transmission is significantly lower than bare back sex. Of course there is still risk which increases if you allow them to cum in your mouth.

Giving oral to a woman is the least risky of all the oral activities because fluid is less likely to reach the back of the throat whereas even if a guy doesn't cum in your mouth , there will still be precum which due to the nature of where it is excreted from is more likely to reach the back of your throat. As others have said, any cuts on the gums etc also increases the risk which is why you shouldn't floss before a meet.

Everyone has to balance the risk to benefit ratio and not many can justify the higher risk of bare back sex. Most will find the risk of oral to be an acceptable level. It's really not as black and white as all protection or no protection. Sounds pretty shocking to me that because the woman you slept with didn't have answers to satisfy you then she felt pressured to have bareback sex which she wouldn't have ordinarily chosen to do. Perhaps I misinterpreted your post though.

True and same gos for men but the point is veri's are proof of this.. just like they are proof you are genuine and all the rest. It's the knowing that My cock could get an std from the woman's mouth so what's the point of me wearing a condom? My pull out game is strong so I don't worry about her getting pregnant.

I think you did misunderstand as I think it was more she saw the sense of what I was saying with regards to the risk of oral sex being the same as penetrative sex, more than the fact the she felt pressured. We had already used condoms but decided not to after a few rounds.

However after reading your explanation I think your answer is the most logical as I agree it is about weighing the risks yourself so thank you.

You're welcome but I do think it's important that you understand the risk is not the same. Not sure you've quite grasped that bare back penetration is much more risky for both partners than any type of oral.

The answer to your question is because unprotected oral is a much SAFER form of sex than unprotected vaginal/anal fucking.

Nobody can argue with that..

Perhaps it is.. perhaps it isn't. I'll research it for my self to see if that is a fact however I have embraced your feedback and appreciate it as it has given me much to think about and it explains my original question which is why people will do one and not the other. Obviously if most people share your opinion it makes sense now which is why I thanked you.

tbh I never used a condom until I turned 28 and I've only ever had one sti in my life which came after the use of condoms. Not saying its in anyway related but the argument for condoms being safe is another conversation all together.

I got my answer.. which was why most people feel it's ok to have sex protected and oral unprotected? Whether I agree isn't the point but I do agree with the logic of why people do what they do and a lot of fair points were made

Just to clarify, the reason STI infection is a lower risk from oral than from penetrative sex is because the digestive system, in particular saliva, is quite good at destroying some bacteria and viruses before they colonise or enter the blood stream. Before anybody jumps on me, I'm not suggesting there is no risk from oral, and I'm not advocating what decision people should make with regards to safe sex. I'm just pointing out the biological differences with transmission depending on the part of the body.

I insist on them if we are going to do oral sex, and I insist on them for penis-in-vagina sex.

I have gum disease - as do a large portion of the population - and so I'm at higher risk of contracting STI's through my mouth.

HIV

hepatitis A, hepatitis B and hepatitis C

genital warts

pubic lice "

I would have thought that it was nigh on impossible to catch pubic lice through oral!

Dramatically reduced risk of catching something serious like HIV compared to penetrative sex.

The ubpleasentness of dental dams or condoms for oral.

These combined mean unprotected oral is acceotable to most people on a risk vs reward basis.

Most people dont tear thier mluths during oral, however small tears in the vagina are more common and very common during anal.

Also your mouth is fairly well equipped to deal with diseases (after all think of everything you put in there) where as a vagina isnt

It's all about risk management v enjoyment and fulfilment. It's up to the individual to get the ballence that they are happy with.

For most condom for penetrative sex and nothing for everything else in the right ballence. Risks are less for oral. Personally I hate condoms but are essential unless I really know and trust a person and there history. Using some kind of oral guard would take too much enjoyment away from the experiance. Plus of course risk can be managed by knowing a person and their history. That can affect how you play with someone.

But at the end of the day nothing is risk free and life would be shit if you never did anything for fear of a small risk.

If you read any information about sti

It is not clear cut! Oral sex is very difficult to pass on sti

Penetration on the other hand is a different story! Hence we only practise safe sex

Why would people risk not using protection! Conforms and regular checks required in this world!

Do you want to be the one that passes sti on??

I guess not?

I said I use them However I never used them until I was 28. I never said I can't use them.. like you said earlier, it's your prerogative what you do with your body as it is mine. Whether I use them or not has nothing to do with the post or you for that matter, because you and I aren't fucking and never will. Still it the interest of good conversation read all my replies before you make ignorant comments

That's because I agree with everyone's comments. I said the pull out comment out of sheer banter and ignorance. I'm not afraid to admit when I say ignorant and stupid things, hence no response. Obviously I know the risk of unprotected sex with regards to pregnancy which is why I made the point in the first post. As the conversation digressed i made the comment on pulling out for a laugh to see people's reactions. People's are very opinionated and I thought it would make humorous conversation.. nothing more. Don't take yourself so seriously because it is easy for you to sell people a dream on here but half of the people on Fab are fake anyway... only you know if your replies are genuine or if you said them to impress others reading.. mine were all honest or for a laugh in the interest in playing devils advocate.. There was a time in my life when I actually believed my pull out game was strong.. yes stupid I know and then you grow up.. and now I said it again for a laugh.. So shoot me...

" My pull out game is strong so I don't worry about her getting pregnant.

You can get pregnant from pre-cum as well. Fucking idiot women if they listen to you."

We're all adults and have the capacity to make own choices. Some of the comments on here are retarded

"I would say you are right and if you are referring to me.. I said had a sti.. first and last time ever.. but as for the clubs. Who's to know who has what in those places. Hence my original question "

Clubs are no different than anywhere else concerning condoms. Clubs promote safe sex. We are all swinger's whether it be in a club or not. So just because some of us choose to play in clubs doesn't mean we have STI's.
