So, I like to wear my hold ups/stockings fairly high up but this presents me with suspender strap issues. The front ones are always too long, even on the shortest length  Makes the suspender belt look odd. Is this just me?

have a look at stockings hq and get a better quality suspender belt four six eight and ten strap belts and corselets very sexy |

I have the same problem but it is easily fixed.....just snip one end, pull the suspender strap through to shorten it, cut the spare bit off and re-sew.....takes 5 mins, m x |

Why not ask at a ladies underwear shop ? I am sure they would be able to get you measured just like they do with good bra's.
Might cost a little more but if it's something that's important to you and you would enjoy then surely worth it ?

I think your stockings are too short pulling the suspender down, try a longer stocking. I am over 6 foot and don't have that problem.  |

I do the same, have become a hold up fan because of this very issue.
Could never quite get the stockings sitting right even with a good quality suspender belt. |

Thank you all...I'm glad it's not just me. I'd bought some new lingerie and was desperate to wear it, came to get ready for Chams on Saturday and it just didn't look right. I will check out stockings HQ. I've some lovely suspender belts including my favourite what katie did and they all seem to be the same. Time to get the scissors out....Ali x |
