As I wore protection I know I am probably by a large percentage ok, as nothing split, although I also know it's possible to contract a STI through protected sex... I just think the odds would have to be well against me to have contracted something whilst protected and as I was only inside her for literally a few minutes tops.. Any advice would be great.. Seriously though, OP, is this lifestyle right for you? You sound a little naïve ..." No it's not an over reaction! I know my penis, and I don't recall it feeling the way it has done recently.. Although I do know that I am possibly over thinking such symptoms where as before I wouldn't of probably thought anything of it.. And no it has nothing to do with being Bi-curious, as I haven't had any interaction with any men for years.. It's just this recent event that's put this in my head.. I used to wank quite a lot, (several times a week) but I don't think I have even had an erection since.. My sex drive is ground zero.. I have done the stupid thing of 'googling symptoms' and as a result convinced myself I must have everything! I understand that condoms help but I think that it's naive to say that sti's are easily treated. They can be devastating.. Causing infertility and major health issues, obviously you are aware of the danger of aids. | |||

"If you had done a home test or been to a clinic soon afterwards you would have your results by now and you would have saved yourself all this worrying. I'm sure everything will be fine but do it now to put your mind at rest. Sally" Ideally you need to wait about three weeks before you go to the clinic - STI's done always show up straight away. So now would be around the right time to go to a clinic. | |||

" We do find it frightening that people get tested and then go back to sometimes, unprotected sex. My understanding is that it takes 3 months, for the aids test result. If your feeling symptoms it may not be with this 5 minute sesh but you could have contracted sti with someone else before. It takes any sti infection 2 weeks to fully get into the system and then get symptoms from this. Better getting checked anyways. Its only a pee sample and a blood sample they need now a days. I assume you haven't had sex since this occurrence, so even if you had caught anything you won't have passed it on. Most (note I said most) STIs area easily treated with antibiotics, and to be frank the sooner you find out you have one the easier it is to treat, with less likelihood of possible side effects such as infertility. The idea that STIs are disgusting, and only caught by filthy individuals should be knocked on the head. That is what stops people from getting tested. Once you have visited your clinic you will find out that the workers there are non-judgemental and you will wonder what you were frightened of. | |||

" Speechless that a guy of your age is trying to suggest 'a few minutes' makes a difference. Go and get tested if you're worried. It's discrete and will set your mind at rest. While you're there ask questions and listen to the answers. Learn a little about sex and the risks it carries. Did either of you perform oral sex? Protected? The general population is just over ten percent and that includes all sti's, swingers are about 0.5% higher than general population with prostitutes being the lowest risk just under 5% . Most can be treated pretty simply with antibiotics so everyone should get tested regularly unless 100% monogamous or celibate , regardless of condom use or not . When it comes to the big one , aids , it's people that don't know they have it that pose the biggest risk . Those that have been diagnosed and are being treated with retro viral drugs , 94% are very unlikely to pass it on (almost 0 Chance) due to suppression of the virus . So many people are ignorant about Sti's , I'm not condoning running around shagging everything that moves , the only safe sex is no sex , but you have an almost 90% chance of not even being exposed to someone who has an Sti , let alone catching it from them . Make your own risk assessment as you do in every other area of life , just stop worrying all the time or you will ever enjoy life ! | |||

As I have said in all of my posts, I used protection even for when she gave me oral, and during the intercourse, so I am hopeful that my chances are even less than the 10% chance you mentioned.. "Only thing you can vontrast using protected sex is crabs. Unprotected sex although then your talking all sorts.
