"I lost all sensation having removed mine. I would not recommend them!
Just glad that I didn't get my clit pierced!!
That is definitely something to consider. My nipples are really sensitive and would hate to lose sensation.

Wow, 6 months? Is that how long it takes them to heal? |

Worse piercing I ever had done. Had them both done at the same time. They never healed. Ended up with blood poisoning in one 6 months after it was done after sea swimming. The other came out 3 months after that. |

It can tak between 6 - 8 months or longer for them to heal. I had both done about 2 years ago and have no problems, expect took one out as it has been placed incorrectly. The other one is fine.
As with any new piercings it's an open wound and you need to take care of it with twice a day seasalt soaks/cleaning, clean bras everyday and no playing with it until they are completely healed.
I had bars in both of mine and think they're better, as the rings may snag, furthering the healing process. |

If you have them pierced with bioplast/ptfe bars you shouldnt have any problem with healing or loss of sensation, the bioplast is a specialised plastic used in heart surgery prevents the body rejecting it both mine are done this way and no trouble at all, it's the metal bars cause the problems for most people as they are allergic to the metal |

For most piercings it should be implant grade titanium- nothing with nickel in, which can cause reactions.
OP: with you haven't been discouraged already, do your research: go to reputable piercer and ask questions. Do a search for 'body jewellery shop |

Hi, I have a few piercings "down there" if you're looking for heightened sensation I'd highly recommend that. Drop me a message if you want to chat further about piercings x |

Mine took about six months to settle down, but after two years still weren't fully healed - which isn't actually that unusual. |

I've had mine done for over 3 years now & use eye brow bars in them as I've small nipples & only used sterling silver - I had them done with longer bars but found they caught on things that's why I changed to the shorter bars - I've not had much trouble with them really apart from when I'm poorly then one of them gets a little sore - I did look after them very well when I had them done though - soaked them in sea salt 3 times a day for 6 weeks then just used savelon spray daily for a few months after - just like having any other piercings, they are not for every one - mine are through the nipple & I love them & no sensation has been lost on mine, if not made them more sensative x |

Oh the pain! Had mine dine years ago (Mr). Was painful fir first week or so, first 3 days whole side of my body was throbbing. It didn't reduce sensitivity though, in fact think this increased. Had to take mine out after about 6 months due to a job I took. Wouldn't do it again. |

Not everyone has the same experience ...
... I've had mine done twice, as I took a break when I was breastfeeding and they closed up. No issues with infection, and they took about 5 to 6 months to fully heal each time. That's to say, they stopped feeling sore long long before then, but I did notice the very occasional bit of (clear, non offensive) discharge during that time. I was indulging in nipple play after about a month without any adverse effects. I was also lucky never to experience any loss of sensation, I think they've become a little more sensitive in fact |

I had mine done almost a year ago, just one not both. I've had no problems with it at all, unless you count the couple of times I've caught it on underwear!! It healed fine, no infections etc, and now I have a sparkly stud in it. I wouldn't say the sensation has changed in comparison to the stud free one, but i do like having the choice of "pierced or not" to play with |

We are heavily into tit play so I wouldn't take the risk just in case something went wrong |

I had my navel pierced, took a year to heal, but a nipple is a far more tender and sensitive place.. I would not advise anybody as healing is slow and if you bump it or snag it the healing takes longer oft with bouts of infection |

I had one done years ago. My nipples aren't sensitive so made zero difference to that. I had a bar and found it got snagged on things a lot, and that's about the only thing I can think of to say about it. Didn't hurt, but comes down to how sensitive you are to start. I took it out after a few years when the novelty of having the piercing wore off. |

Had 1st done with no problems at all, feeling was great when played with so I got the other 1 done, cried for a week in pain, I had to have antibiotics and keep cleaning it with a mild solution, only just bearable now 15 weeks later, had my clit pierced after that and it's absolutely amazing how sensitive it's made it, I love it x |

"Worst pain I've had. Took 2 years to full heal and lost sensation in it too. Looks hot but not worth it x"
Totally agree I had mine pierced and wouldn't heal so took them out
Then decided to have them done again and the pain of having the needle pushed through the scar tissue that had built up was horrendous and I still ended up with the same problem of them not healing and rejection even tho I tried all different types of metals
I'm obviously very sesnsitive so I wouldn't recommend having them done !! |

They do take a very long time to heal as they are a deep piercing. I had mine done and it didn't change my sensitivity but I ended up taking it out as it never fully healed. It did look nice though!
