I always write a specific, polite opening message some I get replies to some I don't.
I can be exchanging a few messages then all goes quiet. I don't want to appear pushy so I'll send one more message. If I don't get a reply I leave it. Is this common, and how do others deal with it? |

Standard Fab protocol is that no reply means no current interest is being pursued. Message volumes, amongst other things, mean it's too tough for most to send thanks but no thanks mail. Don't send chase up mail, it's bad form.
Message many people in the way that you're personalising it op and you'll find that some will work. |

Thanks for the replies. I do have some success and I'm well aware of the volume of messages people receive. I just found it odd when after building what seemed a good rapour the messages stopped. It sounds as though it's as normal as not getting a reply in the first place. |

It's called playing the percentage game!
Some will happily exchange messages until something better comes along. Had its done to me, even got a meet sorted out, then she cancelled and went silent. Next day a veri from a younger man appeared on her profile. |
