So everytime I give someone a blow job or eat out another woman I get cold like symptoms and really sore throat the day after. Does anyone know what could cause it? It's not sti's cause their all clean but I never get it with my other half just new people. Ruins the after mood and hurts like hell but only lasts a couple days.  - Shade |

That's odd. Although myself and my hubby have both said that we can get a sticky throat the next day if we were at it for a while lol. x |

Mrs does too with 99% of new people. Its the exact same even in only kissing and nothing else.

I explained an exact same problem in great detail,to my doctor very recently.
He couldn't have been less interested.
In fact, his actual words were "Sainsburys is neither the time or place to discuss personal problems. Please make an appointment through my receptionist and let me carry on doing my shopping please"

I trust the people who I've done it with and plus sti symptoms dont show until a week to 6 weeks after, I've got this like 12 hours after doing it. I have figured out I've had it after kissing and going down on people that smoke. Been fine with the ones that don't, slightly tingly but nothing major. my mums allergic to cigs. Do you think could be something to do with that? And yes was at it for a good hour. Feel so ill |

Could be your body not liking some natural bacteria that the other person has.

Maybe. It's not just sore throat it's full on flu had to call work to say not going in I feel that bad. 3rd time I've had it. Unless I already had flu and the bacteria my body doesn't like made it so the flu came out as well. |

Silly me I've just worked it out!!
You were obviously on the verge of full blown flu, it would have taken you down for 3 weeks, but obviously that nice little protein injection prevented the worst of the symptoms!!
All that vitamin D (or whatever vitamin the lastest rumours are) boosted you immune system, apparently it's also good for your skin, is better than valiumand also helps you predict the lottery numbers.....

This is a relief to read.
After I receive a blow job I get serious sti like symptoms. Stinging and sore prostate.
But despite this happening several times over the years I test negative. I now put this down to immune system and natural bacteria.
However I read that stis can be transmitted via oral so might have to knock on the head so to speak.

I always find these threads most odd! We get health ones, science ones and legal ones. In every case we get a range of opinions, it is inconceivable that they are all correct!
Many of the threads ask questions that can and should be answered by experts.
Regardless of which answer you think is correct, the fact that we get such a range of answers shows how useless fab is as an advice forum for such technical matters.
This thread is a case in point. The question is really pretty important with implications for the health of the questioner and, to some extent, public health. So fab advice isn't needed, a GUM clinic on the other hand... |
