Did she know you were travelling? As long as someone has communicated that they will be late I have no issue with that and will wait, vice versa as I'm always running late but I'll message to let them know |

You didn't do yourself any favours by stating from the outset a '6ish' meet. That's open to interpretation.
Then, did you let her know you were going to be a little late?
We wouldn't hang around much more than 20-30 minutes if we haven't heard from them. |

Would you really interpret 6ish as anything before or a bit after. My interpretation and I know others whom I've met it would imply from 6 as one of us could be a few minutes late. That said I always message if I'm running slightly late and keep update with progress.
I had a no show once, I messaged on arrival as agreed and had messaged a few times while waiting. ..they got the messages but didn't reply after 30 minutes messaged that I was leaving, I turned round and returned home then after about 2hrs after in tial meeting time I get a message saying I'm waiting and where are you....said she didn't get my messages.
Really? The two ticks tells me you recieved them lol...then she blocked me. Was not amused to say the least.
We met up months later after she appologise and said it was her first meet and was very nervous. We've played a few times and spanked her arse for it on one occasion.
Moral.... no need to always report and block... sometimes best to just accept it and move on without causing a noise. |

If it was a first meeting, I would agree a specifc time rather than "ish."
If they were not there within 5 minutes of that time and had not contacted me, I would leave. I have always been a stickler for punctuality. |

I think it was Admiral Lord Nelson who said " I owe all my good fortune in life to arriving a quarter hour before".
I would not expect anyone to wait for me and I would not wait for anyone.
Late is late |

Chances are she probably wasn't even there!
I can accept 10/15 mins early/late for a meet.....what difference does it make, you are there to have fun, not judge on there punctuality skills!! |

I'd wait for around 30 mins if I'd heard nothing then go texting them to say as I hadn't heard from them I'm off. If the person concerned said they were coming by tube then its not unreasonable for them to not be able to send a message and that there is a posibility they could be delayed so would wait more than 10 minutes. |

"If you let her know you were at the mercy of london transport and would be a little late then I think not waiting is bad form. X "
This. Unless she was never even there... |

Bloody hell!!! I'm glad I don't meet for socials. ...which I assume this was? I never give an exact time as I never know what's going to happen at home. ...I always let them know when I'm leaving though so they know roughly when to expect me. I tend to meet people that suit my way of doing things though. I clearly wouldn't be a match for those that are sticklers for time. |

As a frequent user of London Underground I know that you can be later than you expected and that you can't stay in contact.
I wouldn't even consider 12 minutes as being late, it's always a roundabout or ish time for me anyway. |
