Couldn't look them in the eye? Your qualifications should have given you the upper hand on the geometry of the room? Or at least height of individuals vs distance over angle of body position |

"Ooooh. A sex toy. Whatever next
I would imagine a fair proportion of the adult population own one or two. "
We all have one or two but they're not just lying around the house |

"Being a contractor you must of heard of the DOL???"
DOL - Direct on line,a motor starter that applies the voltage in an instant, as opposed to soft starts, delta-star, or inverter drives, yes ? |

My plumber friend was telling me how a customer once used a dildo as a paper weight to hold the note she had left him! What a tease |

Speaking as an Engineer, none of those are Engineers, not even remotely close, it's akin to a model RC aircraft fan calling themselves a multi jet Pilot or an old people's home nursing assistant calling themselves a Surgeon.
That's not to say you won't find proper Engineers doing such menial jobs, shortly after the iron curtain fell I met a Russian engineer who worked on rocket motors working as a plumbers assistant, he could only be the assistant because he didn't have a valid city and guilds or corgi accreditation, guy who built and serviced 500,000 lb thrust LOX motors not trusted to work on an old worcester boiler unsupervised.... probably because he knew the boiler combustion chamber was a hideous cheap ass inefficient POS. |

When the Sky installer came to put Sky Q in 3 rooms, the furthest one doubles up as a playroom with a freestanding sex swing/sling. It was easier to hide it, removing the seat and hanging shirts, sweaters and jackets along the frame, an ideal clothes hanger. He was very friendly and I wasn't sure if he was bi, but best to err on the side of caution, just in case. It's more important to have the job completed well. |

I've found quite a few over the years down the back of people's sofas. As well as bras, knickers, used condoms, drugs, and the occasional dead mouse or rat.

He is, but I don't think anyone was asking for the definition of an engineer tbh

You're on a swinging site but can't look at customer in the eye because you've had sight of one of the most natural things in their most personal room in their house? Bizzare. |

'Engineers' can be a little bit like artists and poets - very fickle and sometimes bashful.

And there's me thinking that you could study software, mechanical, electronic, aerospace, civil and mechanical engineering at University to earn the title 'Engineer'. Didn't realise poetry and art were on the syllabus. That said, we work a lot with software and aerospace engineers and a few of them are serious piss artists! |
