His all, struggling to get responses to messages, have tried a mixture of humour, straight to the point and delicate 'how are you' type messages I understand physical attraction is the first tick and I am a very specific type, so aside from that any hints tips?? Thanks in advance |

Personall I think 'How are you' messages are on a par with 'how you finding the site' or 'fancy chatting' for being the dullest most uninspiring messages people can send. It's so impersonal, it just screams laziness

you need to find what works for you OP, ..
start with 'nice profile...I liked the bit about........'
that shows you actually read it, which is always a good start...

we read profile or status and as well as our usual type of message try and add i something personal -so at least you have taken some notice of them not just copy and paste a messge |

Probably of the minority of woman who honestly don't need men to waste their time writing a personalised message. Doesn't matter what they could say...it's all based on pics and their profile for me. If I don't find them physically attractive a decent message still won't inspire me to reply. Happy to get just a wink then I can check their profile out. |

Reading a profile, and acknowledging it in a message definitely scores brownie points with me OP.. You'd be shocked at how many messages men send saying 'How are you?'.. I don't even bother opening those if I'm honest, so perhaps that one should be scrapped? |

I'm sure everyone is different but...
1: Read the profile and look at pics. Include something about this in the message to show you didn't just copy and paste.
2: if it's a couple talk to them both unless you know it's only one of them.
3: mention something you like, that the recipient could help with in some way (had a mail recently where the guy said about a fantasy he had that luckily lined up with ours)
4: ask an open question of some kind. Makes chatting so much simpler! |
